Bro, i honestly dont know whats happening here. Man proposes god disposes, likewise man proposes mod disposes. Under such a condition we may aswell wait for the mods to propose and dispose.

However if you want to really do it the 'BY US FOR US' way. We need to know how many people are willing to ride. Then based on that democratically decide the destination. Yes I think you are right in assuming that 300 kms ride is enough in hills if the no. of riders is more than 10.

well unfortunately i cant participate in this ride as i am planning to conquer spiti valley in sept end but as suggested by vaibhav bhaiya aka Kurtrules, chindi is the best place that you guys can visit in 3-4 days

I don't know whats happening, nothing is updates by mods yet, after the deletion of the post of pawan, I think its cancelled...

But know if can make a plan lets do it, everything is positive till now (From the office side for the leaves ), But what are the dates, as i was expecting and posted in deleted post by pawan, dates was around 2nd week of September, It will be better if we can can arrange around the same...

Hatu is a totally different place from Shimla, about 8 KMs ahead of Narkand it is a peak at an altitude of 3200m/13800ft. It falls in Narkanda district in HP. there is a small temple (which was under construction in 2009 when I visited this place)

Guys initially i wanted to join in for a ride but due to latest developments, I wont be able to ride before Nov. Mid... Major project at office... All the best for the final riders... have a safe trip.

Seeing the condition of the discussion here online and offline, I am not pretty sure that we are ready for a group ride yet.

We are discussing everything else except the ride and plan accordingly.

Ego clashes and idiotic behavior everywhere, from taking the credit to questioning the necessity of signing a declaration form.

I think by now you all must have understood how difficult it is for organizing a ride.

Request you guys to meet at the dhaba this sunday and sort it out over a cup of tea and a bowlful of maggie.

Else, I don't see a ride happening and even if it happens, it will create more troubles and making the bonds stronger.

Edit: there are people like Vaibhav (Kurt) here who is more experienced than any of us here in organizing such rides, listen to him if you aren't really sure what to do.

I must say Nice job done by xpolice & yes it was required...

Let me just inform everyone that Plan which I proposed it is not in process because of weather condition & I don't want to tag along any new biker with me on any trip for everyone's safety.. I still have full support from experienced & old xbhpians however after thinking a lot I took this decision.



I apologize for the plan cancellation however if We get a chance to make it happen, I will try my best to make it a great trip..

But so much of argument before the start of the ride doesn't send good signals to the new riders who are planning to join. So we better postpone it for sometime and plan it when things are smooth again.

Sunil: I agree with you. Immaturity in tone goes a long way on the road, and the road couples the immaturity with ego, which is never good. However, I am looking forward to ride with the xbhp gang on hills, last time being two years ago and hope things fall in place soon. Take care..
