Why not go for Manali to leh first and come back from Shrinagar ?

Leh to Manali is the most difficult part, going back to delhi wont be a good motivation for that route

Our plan was finalized way bk. And we will be joined by 2 riders in srinagar.

Besides we have to do killar kishtwar route.

It appears that this thread has been dead for too long. Sad to see Delhi thread in this state. I started my biking from this thread back in 2009, and it was the thread I used to visit at least thrice daily. It seems like a lot of old buddies have grown old or have switched to Cars.
Would love to see this thread hot and happening again.
On a darker side-
Dhaba does have become a place where I see people drinking alcohol, stunting and rash driving. I have witnessed people dying on that road and many accidents. Even I have refrained from visiting that place but that does not stop me from biking.
Do not know what has happened but honestly speaking, in Delhi NCR bikes have become more of showoff rather than serious riding.
A short spin to Murthal, and people posting like it was some serious deal. Finding like-minded people have also become a difficult task in Delhi biking community.
Hope some good bikers will read this post and reignite the fun of biking in NCR.

I agree, too many bullets around with loud pipes or kids doing wheelies on roads with pedestrians or riders with minimal or no gear. Unfortunately, I think most of xbhp forums are how you described ie inactive. Also, having the same issue trying to find people to ride together with so solo rides it is. Been riding around Delhi for now due to the damn virus. Looking forward to long rides soon since its starting to cool down now.
