After whole lot of discussion and talks with most of the active members of Bangalore Kadambam Chapter finally the ISG2G pre Ride+ Xbhp 10th Anniversary ride: Bangalore Kadambam Chapter is here.
after getting confirmation from Bangalore spoc Phanikar, here are the details:
As per Phanikar:
Date: 28/07/2013
Destination : Chinar A2B, Krishnagiri (70Kms One way)
Starting Time : 5.15 AM
Meet up Location : Underneth Nice Road, Hosur Road exit.
Note :
No relaxation of riding gear rule: Helmets, Jackets, Gloves and Shoes Compulsory. If you do not buy for the pre ride, you will not buy for the ride as well. No half pants, sandals, topi helmet clad dudes entertained. If you are getting a pillion, the same applies to them as well. Period. If any of these stuffs are absent, please break away from the group and ride on your own or go back home.
Be there on time. Applies to all : If you happen to wake up late and still wants to join in for the ride, join us at A2B directly. Those who are coming for the pre ride for ISGTG leave a text on 9916731397 if you are starting late. The more time you take to start from the meeting point, the more unwanted attention you would have.
Pre Ride is compulsory for ISGTG attending folks.
If you want to show off you riding skills, do it at home. Not on the ride. You would be setting a bad example with other road users regarding the group. Please follow the briefing before the ride.
The destination chosen, as it would be easier for the folks attending ISGTG(mostly the folks who haven't been on this route earlier or new to Bangalore) to be familiar with the route.
Folks who want to extend the ride post A2B, can do it at their convenience.
T Shirts will be distributed for ISGTG folks, so have a bag handy to carry it back home.
Request you guys to have your bikes ready before the pre ride itself, since it will be easier to recognize any minor niggles which can delay your ride to Kodai.DO NOT PROCRASTINATE ON THE SERVICING PART Also Tank up the day before the ride itself or have enough to reach A2B comfortably.
Personally i don't think cake cutting would be possible, because of the logistics of getting it to A2B. If anybody can manage that, nothing like it.
I Request all the members(Old and new) to join in for the ride.
