The list auto-syncs with the database everytime you load the app and open the list. In case you are facing problems with the sync, uninstall the AIERS database from the app and re-subscribe to the database. Meanwhile valkyrieX7 can verify if there is any issue with the app sync.

Hey bro!

The databse is not automatically linked to the AIERS list...

I will be updating the database manually today, by evening.

Once I have done that, you can sync it....

Sorry for the delay...!

I thought this thread is created for riders, in case of emergencies. But, if we encourage people asking for other things. Then there is no point in having this thread.

Please don't encourage people to post other things here. The whole idea of having this thread will be lost.

I don't enter the details myself. It is automatically added by Google form...

To add them to the Memento databse, I copy the contents to the Memento datasheet.

I don't see any chances of errors by my end... still I will check....

Thanks for pointing out!!!!

@valkyrieX7 bro, I have another small suggestion though it may turn out to be a challenge to implement.

Here's the idea :

• Volunteers who are a bit concerned about their privacy may opt for a DNDEE (Do Not Disturb Except Emergencies) status on their entry details, so that other users will respect their privacy.
• Meanwhile, other volunteers, who are willing to provide any sort of assistance/advice and are easily accessible, can opt for a SuperHelper (ok, that sounds really cheesy, feel free to rename it to your liking!!) status. Anyone needing any kind of general, non-emergency assistance can approach the SuperHelper. (Yes, assistance provided will be related to biking only. Dating tips and info on boozing hotspots will NOT be provided - use Google for all those queries!!!)
• Ideally there should be one of these SuperHelpers (or whatever he'd be called) per city, and it is entirely up to the volunteer whether he wants to be a superhelper or not.
• But if someone is willing to be SuperHelper, he should keep in mind that he'd be often bombarded with all sorts of queries (which can be sometimes stupid, absurd or sometimes even outrageous) - so ideally, someone volunteering for a SuperHelper should be someone with a lot of patience and a willingness to put up with all sorts of idiocy.
• If someone volunteers to be a SuperHelper, he may share his preferred means of communication other than phone (BBM / Whatsapp / Hangout / FB / WeChat / Whatever) on the AIERS list, and he would be listed accordingly.
• The DNDEE and SuperHelper status can be changed on request from the volunteers. For example, if I had a DNDEE status on my name and i wish to remove it, I can contact Valkyrie directly and he'd do the needful. Same goes for SuperHelper status.

Other members - Do feel free to let me know how's the idea and I'd work out the implementation with Valky if it's a good idea.

It is a good idea...

The only provlem will be the implementation for the already registered members...

There are already over 65 enrolments.... I will have to add an extra entry for this.

So, the members who have already registered will have to tell me their option and then I will manually enter them in the form.. still, I don't think all will reply soon....

I guess lets keep it simple for now.

All are DNDEE, because that is the basic idea behind the system "Emergencies"....

We can create a separate list of those who are SuperHelper

I will happily be a SuperHelper.
