      Hi buddy!
      Thanks for the great suggestion.

HandBase is not free so I have tried Memento Database..
      It works.

I have setup a synchronization database for AIERS..

I would appreciate it if you give it a try as a beta tester..

Install Memento Database on you Android/ Windows/ iOS device and subscribe to a database : valkyrie#AIERS

      Check if it syncs properly.

For me it is working nicely.!!
Data once downloaded can be accessed offline too.....

      Please check.

The accessibility of this data to a rider stranded in the middle of somewhere is what will make this initiative stand out. Maybe we could find a way to integrate this information into the xBHP app or create an app specifically for AIERS where registermed members could have the entire data on their smartphones on the move (stored locally/cloud) and would be able to filter by location.
Thanks for remembering me and thinking it fit for me to post here.I have already uploaded the data to google drive.

                  Hi Bro,

I gave it a good whirl. It syncs correctly, though the data in the database needs a little bit of polishing. Here are some screenshots and feedback.

                  1. It Syncs correctly, though the setup may be a bit confusing. I will share a step-by-step sync guide later so that not-so-techie people should have no issues in syncing.

                  2. The entries need a bit of polishing up. This is probably the biggest thing that needs attention - the entries are simply displayed as State names, and repeated multiple times. Secondly, the list is not completely synced with your google forms - i can't find my name in that list!!!

                  Solution:
Probably it should be displayed in one of the following ways
                  • it should display all the entries in one page in the manner xbhp id (state)
                  • it should display a list of states and clicking on a state name should display the list of members from that state

                  3. The entries screen is well sorted.

That's the feedback for now. Probably we could work out a solution to polishing the entries and give it another try before I publish a syncing and setup guide.

                    Hey bro!

                    Thanks for the thorough evaluation!

Yes, I too think that repetitive State names will confuse people.
I have updated the list to show State followed by location, which is better than the previous view.

I know the best view will be if the common state names are merged. For now, this should work fine I guess.
Will be looking for perfect formatting though.

Your name is displayed in the list, I just checked.

Once this system is verified to work properly, I will write a step-by-step setup guide with screenshots so that everyone can get it up and running.
Maybe if you get time then you may also do it. I will link it up in the first post.

                    Thanks again!

Small suggestion: How about having the setup to display the City Name and the Member Id (instead of the State name and city name) for the time being? People would better recall userIDs which would be more familiar to them. And a location lookup would also serve better, until we find a better formatting?

What I think is that not everyone will be familiar with the locations and xBhp IDs.
Suppose I am planning a ride to Karnatka, I will directly scroll to the area of list displaying "Karnatka" wherein I will also get the exact city location of the contact person.
If I will be crossing that city in my ride, I will note it down.

Also, in case of an emergency, suppose I am in Manipal, I will scroll to Karnatka entries and check if there is any in the name of Manipal....and contact that person.

I was working over it during my lunch hour...and have come across a template which should work out perfectly. Once done, sort the entries by State name. I have also added autocomplete entries which should make it easier to eliminate misspelt names. (Unfortunately, I am still trying to figure out how to share a template on the Memento app). Look at the screenies below.

Just checked it - seems pretty much fine now - but why can I see the user IDs for only a couple of people and not all of them?

Meanwhile, I have just cleaned up some data from the master sheet and have uploaded a test version at bbsrailfan#AIERSv2 - do sync across and have a look at the overall functionality.

Ok, so here's the step-by-step guide for setting up the Memento app and accessing the AIERS Database.

Visit the Google Play Store and search for Memento Database (or, click here). Install the app.

You will be asked to register on the Memento Server. You can do this with any email id, as there is no necessity for an active email ID.

Meanwhile, I have brushed the AIERS system.

I have corrected all the spelling mistakes in the State field.

Also, I have created a drop down list of states for people to select so that there are no mistakes in the state name.
