you can give it to me for a couple of days to complete the running in....he he...

Fully understand and respect your suggestion - I am just saying this by experience and to be on the safer side. I myself would be happy if we can reduce this but then ...

In all probability we would start early (read 2-3am) which would mean less sleep and ride in the sun the whole day till about dusk maybe.
So breaking/stretching muscles every 2 hours is suggested to keep our bodies hydrated and sound.
And specially after lunch human body tends to be a bit giddy.

I myself never used to believe in hydration of body and stretching muscles etc. but learnt a lesson hard-way once when I had almost blacked out but was lucky to stop in time, took rest ,drank water and moved. The problem is we never know till it hits.

Even in our last year's South ISG2G [MENTION=42765]plasmabhai[/MENTION] had a similar experience, I was just behind him.

hello everyone!!! I'am from mumbai and want to come for the g2g...however i don't have a bike as of now but 'll be buying it next month for sure...but dunno when exactly...so i will come if i get the bike and complete the run in period before the g2g...otherwise i won't be able to come... IF I COME then what should i do about the payments and all...??? i read it has to be done in advance...

Sorry to interrupt... I don't mean to hurt anyone posting this... but 1hr for breakfast and 1.5hrs for Lunch seems to be to long.. instead we can make it to 30mins and 1hr respectively which save some time and we would reach a bit early with some time in hand..

Amboli from Bangalore should be around 10-11 hrs (riding time with 50-55kmph) + 1hr Breakfast + 1.5 hrs Lunch + 3-4 bakar/sutta breaks (2hrs) so totaly 16 hrs ride .
This too I have not taken into consideration buffer time or any time wasted like last ISG2G we wasted an hour because of Advaniji in Salem

So in practicality Amboli seems fine for me too and should be good for Bangaloreans , my only worry is for for our Gujarati mota bhai's...

well, I personally feel that the a ride as long as 18 hours with a group more than 10 members is going to be a hectic one and there might be situations where some of the riders might not be comfortable and we might end up going for break-journey. In that perspective, Amboli as a destination is a great one and since it is nearly 600 Kms, we can cover in a day (considering we start from Bangalore as early as 3am and reach Amboli well before sunset), taking into account enough stops for breakfast, lunch, tea/refreshment breaks. My vote goes out for Amboli

I am from Mumbai and IMO, Amboli will be a fair location for riders from MH, KA and anybody joining from Hyderabad. It will surely be a long ride from Gujarat but more riders from KA than GJ and GJ riders can come to Mumbai on 17th night and we can ride together from Mumbai and Pune riders can decide to move ahead or can combine with riders from Mumbai and GJ on 18th morning.

Coming to the second part, stay will have to be decided online only as not possible for a recce ride like in case of Shrivardhan.

I personally don't have any problem with shrivardhan but yes as a group it is still sceptical for all of us to complete it in a day

Rather after your earlier suggestion we Bangalore guys were expecting that destination will change to Amboli and people were excited too. But saw shrivardhan getting finalised.

I will say we are still open to Amboli and personally I will give a heads up for Amboli again.

And if nothing woks with shrivardhan then yes we are planning to do a break ride while going a will try to push back in a day while returning.

Plans are going on and for that we Bangalore guys are doing 2 pre rides also for the same.
[MENTION=61921]SuvraGanguly[/MENTION] what do you say??? Atleast after seeing the pics shared by MG earlier and also the time statistics shared by him and considering a big grp from Bangalore let's vote for Amboli.

Are we going ahead with Shrivardhan? I know thats what the poll says but are the Bangalore guys ready to ride for a very long period of time or are they breaking it into 2 days

Lets see how much time the Bangalore guys are taking

Bangalore - Karad - 11hrs (10hour possible but with group of ~15people it will take longer)
Karad - Chiplun - 2.5hour ( For 100 kms)
Chiplun - Shrivardhan - 4hour (For `150kms)

So a total of 18hours. Incase Bangalore guys are starting 5am they will possibly reach by 11pm. With a group of 15people is that possible?

The other option is you guys start at around 2pm on 17th and stop at Belgaum and do the rest on 18th. While returning try to push and do it in one day on 20th

Bangalore guys please decide among yourselves and post here so that I put up the final destination


The other option of Amboli is very much open. In that case this is what we are doing
18th - Reach Amboli by 4pm and see the sunset (Gujarat guys can possibly reach in one day considering they have a small group and 6 lane all the way minus crossing Mumbai)
19th - Fun and meet up day. Expore Amboli in evening and see the sunset at the nearest beach say Tarkarli(Is a better beach than Shrivardhan).
20th - Start at 8am and reach Bangalore by Sunset

For Hyd guys too Amboli is less than 600kms

That's cool and exciting to see more riders getting interested.

1)Event is for three days 18-19-20 April
18april- riders will be riding down to location and meeting other state members
19april- G2g and fun enjoyment all together
20april-riding back to respective states after biding adieu

2)Now regarding payment process-
There will be selected spocs from each state whose account details will be mentioned
Respective state members will pay in advance to them(most probably onlivr transaction) which will include accommodation and tshirts within specified date
Failing to which late comers have to make their own arrangements and inclukily no tshirts as it will be printed on advance booking only.

Hello Organisers:

There might be a couple or riders from Hyderabad interested.

1) Request people to throw some light about the plan. Is the G2G on 19? 18th and 20th being ride days? Or is the G2G inclusive of 18th and 20th?
2) By when do we have to pay an advance (if any such is being collected)?
