Hi Sid,
I also checked with Anant he also said 2 days will be too short. I'm planning to leave on Friday. Also as per Google it will take 6 hours at least without breaks & it is 70-80kms/hrs. So with the lunch, breakfast & other breaks it will take at least 8 hours, so plan accordingly.
Let me know if anybody wants to tag along with me, I will leave early morning.

Sorry Sounak I didn't reply last night. I was not well and couldn't have come out anyways to hand over the knee guards at that hour. It would have been possible if you had called me anytime before 10 pm. I hope you could still arrange for the knee guards for today's ride.

Hi there,

Please render some advice.

I am planning a return trip from Rajkot to Pune in December. Only this time, I plan to do it in one shot, no night stay in Surat. My steed is a CBR 250.

I plan to start at around 5 AM from Rajkot. Assuming a ride time of about 20 hours, I would be at the Fountain Hotel by about 7 or 8 PM. Ergo, I would need to ride the old NH4 to Pune at night.

How are the conditions on this road at night, friends? Has any of us done this route as recently as in the past 1 month, who would be in the best position to comment on road conditions?

I believe we will need to stay at Dandeli which is ~38kms from Anshi. I'll call the numbers tomorrow & check if we can get accommodation directly at Anshi.
