Would a straight swap with 2009 N250 with only 23k km on odo with all servicing on or before time, complete stock do?Originally posted by satyenpoojary View Post

I suffered a crash due to this (Totally Unintentional use of rear brake while cornering).Originally posted by shrinathrao View Postjust one query, is it ok that you drop your speed before you hit the corner and then your start accelerating and in mid corner apply a liitle of your rear brake and than leave the brakes and than take exit at good speeds or rear braks should not be used at all ?
So I think it is NOT good.Never let your mouth be Broadband when your brain's on Dial Up.

Now here for your slide there can be two reasons as per my riding knowledge.Originally posted by RedFlash View PostI suffered a crash due to this (Totally Unintentional use of rear brake while cornering).
So I think it is NOT good.
1) the moment you felt that you felt that you are loosing control and you gonna hit you chopped the throttle completely
2) Secondly when you were in the mid corner you could be on gravel and that lead to skid or your rear was locked.
What if you dont chop but leave accelerating and leave brakes too. than how it will be.
I am a noob here so wanna gain knowledge man. Not sure whether my above comments also are right or wrong.
EDIT : Ritwik i read it on this article where some expert rider posted this article so this question came in my mind.

Always try to enter a corner at a comfortable speed. In the riding technique books, there are plenty of illustrations given about entering a corner at slow/faster speeds.Originally posted by shrinathrao View Postjust one query, is it ok that you drop your speed before you hit the corner and then your start accelerating and in mid corner apply a liitle of your rear brake and than leave the brakes and than take exit at good speeds or rear braks should not be used at all ?
Since on public roads, where I guess you will be riding the most, its better to enter slow (unless you can clearly see the curve until its exit) and then gain speed as you can see ahead.
Regarding usage of rear brake. I use them for as long as I can remember. But one got to be careful with them, not to lock them up while leaned into a corner.2000 Suzuki Fiero | 2004 Bullet Electra | 2004 RX135 | 2005 CBZ | 2009 Karizma | 2009 Punto 1.4 Petrol | 2011 Yamaha YZF-R15

If you have leaned the bike for corner and if you apply brakes, the bike would start to stand up and go straight. This would result in you running out of the road. There are several riders who can apply brakes mid corner and still recover the bike. However, we, as mere mortals are not among them.
If you entry speed is slow and the bike is not leaned over, you can apply brakes mid corner also. This is not cornering but just turning. This is what most of us do most of the times.
If you entry speed is slow and you still try to lean the bike and take that corner, you will fall down. I think this is called as low side. (I am not too sure because I don't know much about cornering)
If cornering, you need to be extremely smooth in all operations; be it throttle, leaning or braking. Any sudden inputs would unsettle bike resulting in crash.
Since I have been riding it, it's value is appreciating day by day.Originally posted by darkknight View Post& in brand new condition
