Which route should i take to reach NH17 from Pune.Must be short and in good condition. .Yes i am going GOA.

What all options we have ..Need the info urgently.

@ beru - just take a right after nippani towards amboli ghat, go on crossing sawantwadi, vengurla and you enter goa border

If you want to take the fastest route to Goa, go through Nipani.
If you want to take most scenic but the road is worst condition, go through Varandha.
If you want to strike a balance, take the route that we took through Gaganbawda and Karul ghat.

The route through Pasarni ghat->Poladpur is also good, unless, like us, you too are sick of Mahabaleshwar.

You can also go through Koyna, Kumbharli ghat which is also very scenic.

I believe Nikhil also knew another route near Kolhapur that travels along some lake.

Why are you so interested to come to my place?
