I'm sorry for posting this here but this is one of the few places where I can expect a good response.

A friend of mine is in urgent need of a bone marrow transplant. Urgent in this context means that he has just about 20 days left.

That's it - nice and simple - a friend needs some life saving help. A drive has been organized to look for potential donors. For those of you who don't know - all that you have to do is reach the venue.

The medical personnel there will simply take a swab of your ear wax - Just like cleaning your ears - no pain.

All you have to do is contact me, call or text - 9028517919. The venue is MG road, right next to SGS mall. The drive will be conducted around noon. All you have to do is ride/drive/jog/fly to the venue!

Well they're just looking for a donor right now. Once a match is found, the procedure is different. Its on 12th (Saturday) and starts at 11.

Wow! I thought it was about support and not contribution. On another day I would have joked about attaching bone marrow using the attachments option to 'Show' the contribution, ... darn!

Vkavadia, I was scheduled to be in pune for this week, but looks like that has changed. I would be away for a while, and should be back in Mumbai by Wednesday next week. Is there any other way I could help?

i cant donate bone marrow because of a recent surgery that i had, but would definitely come for the ride if i am not working this Saturday.
