[/B]Moreover, I might be planning to make a solo trip to a cousin of mine in Vadodra, Gujrat next week some time. Since, I am having time to spare for this, I would very keenly like to be a part of the 19th Nov Anshi Park round trip as it would give me good insight for long distance rides. Pointers from xperienced riders would be much appreciated for the same. I reckon, it would be best for me to learn and apply at the same time.
Wd be buying my pair of Knee guards tom probably.

Also, if anyone has done the Pune Vadodara route it would be great if I could have some suggestions and directions about the route, road conditions and all.

Hi Shashvat as vivek wrote route is awesome, about the current state of the roads they are n very good state, i did that route last week from pune to ahemedabad and back (left on Thursday returned on Saturday).

From Pune leave as early as you can otherwise Mumbai traffic can kill you in terms of time and reach thane then head towards ghodbandar (for landmark reach Fountain hotel its well known) then hit NH8 few kms are bad since construction of flyovers is going on after that its all butter smooth 6 lane highways waiting for you to rip hard ...

About New member induction ride.
Induction ride will be on 27/11/2011 . as it will give all the old/ new members to get their Gear and Bikes in order.venue will be decided in coming week.

Just a question, can the induction ride be shifted to 04/12/2011? If yes, that would be great! If not, no issues, I will still join in anyhow.

Has anyone tried using Shell Fully synthetic oil 15W50 oil on their R15, CBR or ninja.

Just asked as i was given a special offer today morning for the same at shell hinjewadi petrol pump.

I don't think there is a Shell 15W50.
If it's FS, you're talking about that's Shell Advance Ultra - 10W-40.


I'm not 100% sure though!

I downloaded that right after coming back from the G2G, not sure this or some other link. I had seen some of it in bits and pieces earlier on youtube. It looked pretty informative and shot in a way that is enjoyable and not a classroom session type DVD ..

Yet to see the full DVD. perhaps will watch that tomorrow. If someone has difficulty in downloading, I can bring it on a pen drive during next G2G.

AFAIK there is no 15w50 FS bike engine oil from Shell. If this is something new then I am not aware.
