Expected time to reach back to Pune is 11 - 11.30 am. From smile stone, guys who wish to visit wind mills will proceed there and who wish to return will do so.

1. If any rider is found without the mandatory documents / safety gear, he / she would not be permitted to join the ride.
2. Pillions are permitted but safety gear mandatory for pillion also.
3. Please fill up fuel on Saturday itself. This would be 200+ km ride and there would not be any fuel stops enroute.
4. Please adhere to given timing to avoid heavy traffic or being left behind.

@ siddharth & niks - just because some of them have all the riding gears, its not necessary all of the other members also should have, especially the new riders or those who dont have budget for same, and wearing helmet in city is their wish and we cant force them for same. so my brothers i think putting rules for g2g meet with riding gears is not a good way for people's turnout as in that case i feel 40% of janta will be gayab. .

If this is the case , please remove the norm of wearing all that gear for rides. u will see 50% more people coming for the rides too !

and let that 40% junta be gayab for g2g's if they cant wear a helmet and jacket. On one hand we preach the necessity for safety gears (ATG ATT and the likes) and on the other we say it is one's choice not to wear a helmet?

For g2g's all am asking is helmet and "any" jacket shud be a mandate.

Can we have a poll for this and see what is the outcome ?

What speeds do people plan to do? I might join with my Yamaha RX100 so will be riding at speeds of 60-70 only. Can/should I join?

Try and join for today's G2G, perhaps a more clear picture would emerge about the no. of riders, different riding speeds etc.

Quite surprising to see some xbhpians justify not wearing helmet/basic gear under certain circumstances .
It's the same line of thinking that the aam junta use to excuse themselves too.
Nobody is forcing members to armor up every part of their body, but as responsible riders it should be made clear that showing up to a g2g or a ride while not wearing a helmet is just not right !


p.s : no offense to anyone .. i feel strongly about this ever since a good friend of mine had his only major accident while just exiting his colony gate .. and that was the only time in his life he wasn't wearing a helmet !

In all the cases you are not welcome in Pune and Pune G2Gs .
Until you throw a Chicken party at your place after the G2G.Ofcourse the chicken should be prepared by The Master Chef not ordered from Outside
