Waah mere Paolo Ceolo...Originally posted by TenHut View PostAdd to that the fact that the fullmoon looked down upon us like a Wegweiser illuminating our paths into the twisties like the Lord holding the torch in his own hand helping his disciples get closer to him !
We had a nice sermon atop a hill at lavasa..were subjected to an insanely beautiful alien portal with spaceships about to enter through it any instance (which ritwik thought to be just the cloud surrounding the moon giving it the HALO effect, but really it wasnt that)
The ride started getting even better for me once I was off the bike, tucked away under the sheets in my bed. As i lay in my bed with my eyes gazing the emptiness of the cieling secretly comparing it to the moon lit sky which i had been gazing just an hour ago, I started reeling under the after effects of a night ride which felt like riding at the Isle of man TT for the most part of it.
Sporadic controlled blasts followed by nice twisties where i saw a rider at a distance ahead of me and a rider at a distance behind me kept me warm throughout the chilly affair at night. To see everyone ahead of me fall to their rights and lefts much like dominoes, as we hit multiple bends together, made me think to myself of how I had been destined to ride a motorcycle and how much other mortal souls were missing out in their lives by keeping themselves aloof from this sport.
For me...now..there is only one sport...and its riding.
I think of the improvement I have had since I started riding out on a bike and the improvement that still lies in store for me.
Surely the ride yesterday was a challenge for me..i didnt know the roads at all and had been to lavasa only twice(that too during the day). There were days where I was thinking of giving up on riding for it felt too difficult a thing to do when wanted to be done with finesse and too risky an affair to derive fun out of. Yesterday I realised why I still kept going at it. If riding good wasn't a challenge, it wouldn't be worth anything to you either!
Ciao

Tenhut - you are in wrong profession. Should be a writer or poet. Would make more money.
Sorry guys, it has been quite busy time last few weeks. In fact, I spoke with Ritwik about coming to Chandani Chowk but I got out of office quite late and did not have energy for a drive. Goes with advanced age :-(Never argue with an idiot. He will drag you down to his level and then beat you with experience.
