The Official Pune Offline Meet(G2G) Thread

Topic : Difference between a 2 stroke and 4 stroke engine
Difference between drum brake and disk brake and how they work internally

requesting people with technical knowledge to come early if they need to do some preparations for the talk as there are many noobs like me who will need a bit more detailed explanation.

I know this topics are too small or easy for many of them but there are many noobs also.

After the session all the SIE will give details about the ride like the preparations done (packing, increasing endurance for the ride), problems faced for the bike and for the rider.

Requesting MG, NV, INDER, SAGAR and the SIE gang and all members to be there.

I'l believe that your coming for a ride only when i see u at CC.

I'd say 5:30 is a good time as we can spend some time while having chai and stuff to discuss the day's activities and/or any doubts that anyone wants to clear up/concentrate on for the day before beginning the practice runs.

Who will be talking about above subjects? Have you spoken with this person and is he ready with info and willing? Or will you be the first speaker?

TThree things here mate...

1) Changing the day doesn't change the date. And Thursday,i.e today is not 15th October. Today is 14th October.

2) Today Hyperion cannot make it & tomorrow I and Antz.Bin cannot make it. So since each of us are a member SIE,request you to shift/postpone the SIE trip detail in a G2G until all the members of the group are available.We all have our part of the story.

3) It is good that you are making a G2G announcement. But the way you did, it looks to TOO LOUD.We all can read yaar. Request you to please reduce the font size next time you post for a G2G. It looks as if your yelling/shouting/abusing at us with the way you present the G2G format.
This is not a net ettiquette.

@ vishwas - i dont know the technicals of the topic but i want to learn so requesting people with technical knowledge like NV, sagar, Tenhut, Rockrz or others can take the lead for the topic.

@ hyperion - your SIE rider antz saya he cant make it on friday and you say you cant make it today, so lets do it this way today let the other SIE riders speak and when you come for the next G2G you can share your experiences.

Eeeks, why are you guys giving so much importance to the minority group of SIE riders.. ! If they arent there, it means they could benefit from the material in another discussion... DONT hijack the groups agenda for personal reasons and DONT throw topics on to others, let people volunteer!

2) How many of those are able to join
3) Who would be talking on these..

Before calling on ANY technical discussion, please ensure you mention these points just like we mention the name and date on our offline g2g rides...

(IMO its too short a notice to discuss these topics in detail, especially considering no one voluntered to hear or teach about it!)

I have asked you exactly the same thing. Who will be talking about those subjects and have you spoken with whoever that might be before posting? Is he ready with relevant info and willing to do it?

You can't just post topic for G2G without knowing who will be talking about the said topic.

Guys, all I said was that I wont be able to make it, thats all. I never asked for the G2G to be re-scheduled. I am sure the rest of the "SIE" riders are more than capable giving you all the information you need.

When i posted the change i was blogging through my phone so dint realized the date change, just reached at my work station and changes are made, which you can see.

Tell me frankly how many times have you all 4 of them gathered after your SIE ride and told or shared your experiences with everyone, except once but that day we all spoke out of the topic, now you say to postpone and postponement will go on happening and finally the experiences minute details will fade away and then the topic is gone. so lets start with whoever can come today and start then on the other G2G let hyperion share his experiences

Yes it has to be loud as its not a regular G2G dude which we always had, it all depends on what you want to convey and i have many topics wrote in that so all members take a note of it not just a routine G2G but some serious thinking has to be done the way thread had gone before MG closed the thread. The long start of trainings or technical discussion and your SIE ride so we have 3 topics here my friend.


And last but not the least,take this in friendly manner.
