Hey Ten, yesterday we faced bad bad traffic both ways...But I got couple of chances to rip and thats the only good memory I have about yesterday...Bike has changed so much after that service

Its funny how my definition of speed has been an ever changing one.
There were days where the most powerful bike I had ever ridden was the Ninja 250R ! After getting used to the bike I ripped it to 160kmph many a times on the highway and soon the speed of 160kmph had ceased to amaze or excite me anymore. I mean yes its fast...but my brain wasnt overwhelmed or busy at 160 kmph. The landscape wasnt out there hurling vehicles and trees at me at an alarming rate at 160kmph anymore. Eventually, at 160kmph I often found myself glancing at the rear view mirrors to look for other riders. Crouching down on the green Ninja tank at 160 kmph, I had the time and space to think of my favorite song and my girlfriends dress !
After jumping on the Blade I was for quite a while always comfortable doing 160 kmph but anything more than that was scary to my brain. Anything more and I felt busy on the motorcycle...felt like I didnt have enought time to compute the rate at which things were being hurled at me. I never could muster up the courage to even look at the speedo or the tacho let alone look for other riders in the RVMs at any speeds above 160 kmph. If you stop to think of it its like a bloody old NES/Atari/Sega/Media 8 bit video game. Level 1 of Tennis/Tetris was where the ball/brick literally swum through the air like it would through a fluid. It was slow and you had all the time to adjust yourself behind the nets to hit it back in the opponents court. By the time you were at level 3 that ball/brick had considerable speed to it. At level 3 you never had the time to even attend to a fly sitting on your nose. You almost always lost the point with certainty if you were disturbed in a level 3 game.
At level 5 it was madness. You hardly saw the ball/brick flying through the air...you hardly saw anything...the way you now played the game though was not through 'seeing the ball' alone but by anticipating a whole lot of different things.

I went on increasing my speeds very slowly and very gradually. Every ride I was doing about 10 kmph more than what I did last ride.

Now my brain is fine with 200 kmph. Anything above 200 kmph is hurried, busy and nothing feels under control.
Funny...how your mind can compute things faster..the more it gets to compute things faster.
I am to draw a line somehwere though. I have to say...alright...I dont want my brain to be fine at 200 kmph + speeds...I dont want that for if I were comfortble at those speeds then I would be doing them more often.
Life has no 5 levels. Its just one level with one 1up !
But I am glad I atleast get to play the game !

sure!! its something related to the inherent imbalance in an ic engine. i am just trying to get it right.. but let me just confirm that i am in the right thought process. thats why i need a scrapped block piston assly.

Also there was some period of time in between your switch from 250 to 1000, which was on the CBR600, right? Was it much different than speeds that you do on the blade??
