Does anyone know where i could find a polishing gun? The one used for polishing fiber and metal based panels. Planning to polish the bike at home. Also costing of the machine (if you know)

You can put a buffing wheel on normal drill machine. Works fine. I have tried it and it works.

Drill machines come in different speeds. You need to use a drill machine of slower speed which is used for drilling in walls. Machines used for drilling steel are faster and should not be used.

Freaking machine cost Rs5750. Called up Bosch Pune Dealer. Its a proper polishing machine with those buffers.

EDIT - Got another info, the machine should have motor which is capable or generating 500 to 1500 rpms only. This is perfect for polishing or chances of fiber parts breaking are more. If you need for metal surfaces then the machine should have 1800 to 2400rpms speed, works perfect to remove dirt and other dust particles, even those orange rusted marks (use rubbing compound).

Nahi re. Just wanted to keep the bike good. The panels are too many to polish, but once done she shines like hell.

Are you saying about shiv shambo automobiles, please dont send any of the guys from pune chapter or they will bash you up, as his servicing was pathetic from day one and huge bills on everything and get your bike screwed not serviced frankly.

Simple solution use formula1, waxopol or turtle wax and take a scrotch brites soft sponge which comes in thin layers and start rubbing on clean parts with wax from the visor to the last part of fibre you see and repeat the same with other side of sponge. You are done.
