PS: Rain+Rajmachi = Practise + lot of money on spares + overdose of practise

^^ nothing that I encountered in rajmachi would be something unexpected in LEH.

I think leh terrain in worst conditions would be much much tougher keeping in mind all the conditions

@Tenhut: congrats for the blade..the best SBK money can buy IMO.. she sure is beautiful, btw are you booking your blade from the same showroom which is located @ Andheri(E). The other member(RohraManish) from xBhp had some booking issues with it(the showroom).. you might have gone thru his thread in the superbike section.. yea>?

The guys out there are really good. Manish Rohra has different problems tbh. His problem isnt that he aint getting the delivery. Hope stuff works out for him.

@MG: I posted the writeup in Pune forum as these are the only guys I know I would wanna share the excitement with. Posting it in Superbike section seemed like sharing the excitement with strangers hence I had refrained from making a thread even for the 600RR. I am however increasingly tending towards posting it in Superbike section as I might get some tips and feedback from other superbike/blade owners.

I wanted to propose a ride to Rajmachi sometime in next couple of weeks. It will help new riders like me to understand offroading (in preparation of Leh). Senior members like paaji, Satyen may not need this exposure but I surely need it.

Not in next couple of weeks .. now is the time..

For Leh, .. you should get some hang of riding on slush more than just bad stone roads .. in MH you won't see any slush till monsoons.. and in monsoons there'll be too much slush for any bike to get stuck ..

It has just rained.. if you might get lucky, there might be some slush around rajmachi area, so, more likely of the terrain you want to try out

There is also another route from Tamhini to Lonavala.. 2nd half of it has some good inclines and slopes..

There are lots of nice muddy roads even inside Pune city limits.. if you are interested i can show you..

Hey Jiten, only me, Inder and Satyen are going to Leh. All others are free. Some were planning on going to Lavasa this sunday. Keep an eye on this thread. Someone is bound to wake up and post updates here.
