    As far as i have known Surojit(a couple of weeks) I know that the plan is currently in its infancy with just the time of meeting decided right now. I am only trying to put ideas in his head. Because I know that nobody can influence his plan when it has reached even 10%. I really hope he is planning to head north.. or else.. I cannot possibly join in.

    And about Goa.. September is still very far away..

    P.S.: By north I didnt mean Leh.

      Is anybody aware of the Pune-Goa route via NH4?? I mean how good it is?
      I was planning a ride to Goa sometime in the month of September... any clue how the Weather gods would fare in that season?

      Also, most importantly, is anybody willing to join??
      Pune Goa via NH4 is by far the most boring streches
      You can sleep on the bike and still will be on the road.... its typical GQ for most parts. Good for a fast blast.... NH17 on the other hand is more scenic and worth taking that road.
      If time is a issue, take NH4, if touring is for fun, then take NH17... if you are rather to adventerous types then there is another road beyond NH17 that will be slower but superb vistas all around!

      Having such rides on a weekly basis really gives a chance for people to join in for at least some of the rides. Keep up the good work.

                      I have travelled on the Nh4 route from pune to goa roads are just good only issue you will face is when you take the right turn from nippani to sawantwadi as you cross amboli ghat as the roads are a bit slippery and the cars are overspeeding, rest the roads are good, and as satyen said you can sleep on that road he is right

                      • hmm

                        @bhailog: thanks for your suggestions...

                        im dying to complete my bike running in period...
                        biggest issues:
                        1. I work in Hyd, so come home only on weekends
                        2. It is a pain to see the bike after an entire week and then ride it at 60kph
                        3. Thorough reading of my manual has enlightened me: for the first 1000kms i need to keep it below 65kph (4k rpm).... for 1000-2000kms... i have to keep it below 75kph
                        4. Since i travel for 24hr/week already... im not too much interested in spending my entire weekend travellin on my bike again... I have only one 1 back...and its not replacable...
