My YAMAHA did what it does best.... broke down.... this time I iknew it was going to happen. ... but the YAMAHA SVC was courteous enough to accept my bike later @ 11:50! And assure me of the service by pre booking emergency parts!

What it broke down in the middle of the night?

Late evening, there was a lot of valve float thanks to some shoddy work by the dealer. The head cap has a lil gap and since oil seal wasn't available, they used araldite...idiots!
result the gap remained and looses compression and oil.
while riding it was ok as I had to be in 4000 to 7000 RPM range to have decent power... but on my way back had a lot of bad roads which forced me to be below 4K mark resulting into the float to increase!

well thats they will do if you pick up the bike before the delivery date . give them some time for servicing the bike.

on a serious note, this thing is sick.. the last time, my bike stopped in the middle of nowhere (on pune mumbai highway), I forced the wakdewadi hh motors to refund me the towing charges and teh complete cost of putting a new oil and the disc pads replacement. in my case, they had not tightened the head cover causing complete loss of engine oil and the oil spilled on the disc pads and bike shutdown due to overheating. the valves also had to be changed later (i had to pay for the valves). did you provide a complaint in writing????

If you have the time, show your bike to chinmay dangre (core power) once.. He is in nigdi and if you want, I will pm you his number ( The consultation is free so no probsie whatsoever )The person is basically a good tuner and has a good understanding of the engines.

i had to pay for the valves cos that was because a smartass inside me fitted a k&n and did not upjet so it was inevitable. i tried arguing with them but was affraid that if they opened the filter cover, i would have to pay even for the tappets that i got changed free of charge so gave up my claim.

the AngryScan(c) is good however, Since It tried to hack my pc, killed my dog, made my pc a zombie, and threatened me of dire consequences if i told anyone about this so i guess only you have the guts to use it again... dont worry, I have recomended your name to the nobel peace prize because of your contributions to this community

pst.... I have cancelled the subscription of the software and so i am eligible for a refund of precisely 3135.256 Rs. (the detailed description is:-
2 for the subscription,
1.256 for registration charge,
132 for bribing the mamus (that i am a law abiding citizen)
and
2000 for protection by the poojari gang (compulsory with the subscription),
and
1000 for police protection when i unsubscribed.
I also have some phone bills and sms charges but i offer them as discount )
