Here is a feature in today's Times of india -

I hope this information is useful for all.

I have done the PUC for my bike/car several times in Pune. EVERY time i have noticed that the PUC machine is malfunctioning/dead one.

This pisses me off to the core. I am genuinely looking for ways to have these $%^&**&^ (PUC wallas) being kicked out.

+ out of the entire lot of people who Q for PUC, everybody is least bothered if the machine is working or not, all they care about is the stupid certificate which is no better than some toilet paper. (toilet paper atleast does the job well)

I have an idea, just as an Initiative by Xbhp, can we have some traffic cops (in plain clothes) accompanying us to PUC wallas in Pune and help us/rather help them expose this nuisance??

I have no clue how this can be done/whether this can be done, but I feel this is an initiative that can be taken by Xbhp. We can also publish (in newspapers) this scam if we are successful in exposing it

+1 for that most machines dont work. infact once when i demanded that i want my machine inspected, he said, "for testing you have to pay 50 bucks extra" i got so pissed off that got the number of the approving rto and complained

and then i got the certificate free of charge

and i guess the bloke never put up his shop on that pump ever since
