Just checked June Prices... Monster 796 is up for grabs @ 9.17L INR OTR... pardon my idiocy but since u mentioned the term VFM, wouldn't a CB1000R (as naked as the Monster) come in for around 1.2L more in the litre naked class?

For some people even 9L is a stretch, Adding another 1.2L is not exactly easy.
Where do you stop? Add another few lakhs you might end up with a supersports.

Actually, theres a lot of value in the Duc considering the Indian road conditions air-cooled, high GC etc.

@Thread: Please decide the venue, I want to get in the free flowing coconut flavoured gyan that would be flowing in the G2G. I would really want to get to know countersteering better.

BTW, had a blasting ride yesterday. 2010 Gixxer is insanely humongous with superbly brilliant looks.....

I also happen to break my own set record of 151kmph yesterday. Clocked 153 on the speedo....

You see, Saad, the Devil is lighter than Dani Pedrosa. His 220 barely breaks a sweat at 150. On the other hand, Anant, the Antz is heavier by a decent 10 kilos.

Antz, try riding naked...maybe shedding your jacket and other stuff mite make you as lite a a fully geared Devil

Exactly what I was also saying... at a "small" stretch (which is equal to one ninja or so) I can go for a Japanese Falcon (aka Busa)... but the Duc on Indian road makes more sense for my style of riding... (TenHut you can pull a fast one on Poojari riders here )

Shed weight ... I guess he shaves hair to "loose" weight, thats why you see so many beard styles on him!

try riding naked..... drop 20 kg weight...... lose 6" height....... find a long downward slope with no traffic in sight.....

Your solution will definitely help you reduce and match the top speed of Saad's bike.
BTW..be satisfied by what you have..you are already faster than most of the other bikes around

recaliberating the speedo is a very good option.... in that way you can go faster than a cbr1000rr provided that the guy is not going over 60 kmph (cos then he would be overspeeding and his bike would be siezed by the police and so no one could ever go faster than you )

@antz - remove the front fiber and do some jogging naked and then see your speedo, waise bhooka reh 1 mth tak just b on liquid diet and then you can beat even the cbr provided its on 60 km/h

+1, the best you can do on the P220 is to get rid of its weight and get smaller tyres

Till now I have been able to clock just 127kmph on my bike.That was once.Now even how hard I try I can only reach 125kmph max
