We heard a detailed narrative from tourojit about their Bhandardara ride in the last G2G and as per new norms, one person will be talking about certain aspects of biking in each G2G. Let's see who takes initiative this time.

Lets change the venue

On the last G2G some senior members had suggested at the last G2G that we should start learning all the technical knowledge related to bikes from scratch, i think we can start that on this upcoming G2G, we can keep G2G in such a place where the disturbance is less and everyone can be really be mentally present on the session happening (something like the discussion we all had in motocafe) as in roopali till date i have always observed that after reaching roopali instead of forming one common group where we can talk on some common topic, the people are split into 2 or 3 different groups discussing their own stuff and than say good bye to everyone and go home.

i know there are people who are sound about the bikes more than rest all others but if they sit for a technical discussion and explain the concepts to others this G2G can become more knowledgeable meets.

How about a "Re-Intro G2G of all the Pune xBhpians"? It won't be the normal intro like their name, id and the bike they ride.

Something more meaningful i.e how they come into biking, what are the aspects of biking that attract them, how they joined xBhp, what all they expect from the group when they joined xBhp. I'm sure most of us don't know about each other in detail. Let's keep this the agenda for the next G2G.

What are the different chassis and how they function?
whats with a shorter and longer wheelbase
what are the different types of clutches,
How does downshift and stability go hand in hand while riding in different conditions
what difference does forks do in a normal commuting v/s using it for a fast riding or cornering
what type of power delivery one should keep in different riding conditions
what the difference between a FI and carb version

OK...this is for my fellow xMen.

The next G2G, I shall explain some of the basic biking terminologies. Most of these would be taken straight off a standard spec sheet that one sees most of the times.

The goal would be to start from the scratch and end up with the more advanced parts. I would need at least two-three days of preparation time for this and maybe we can have it with the Re-Intro session as MG suggested.

I'll be riding to Pune this week for some work. Will try to adjust my work as per the g2g date. Would love to attend yet another weekly meet of Pune members (ofcourse if the Punekars are ok with this Mumbaikar ) .

we can also keep on thursday or friday evening instead of keeping on tuesday or wednesday evenings, as majority of xbhpian are travelling to their home or some other to do list is planned on the weekend.

Even vishwas has his office on Saturday.
