lol guys i'm getting different advice from you guys only lol...if i have to get it serviced earlier then i'll try to ride as much as i can and reach close to 1000 and get it serviced tomorrow...otherwise i'll let it roll naturally and do it after the ride hopefully it shouldn't cross 1050-1100 kms...and yeah i cannot go above 100kmph right now........so ??

Please donot try cornering at Lavassa....DONOT try to imitate the senior members at corners.They are experienced at this. Also donot just rip through the villages.Go slow and understand the road,the corners etc.If this is your first ride to Lavassa with your bike,go slow and get used to your bike,understand body positioning and learn from old members.Roads to Lavassa will be slippery due to rains...be careful.

Arey the chain and sprockets are still the factory fitted ones.I havent done any changes yet. YamahaSVC guys have asked me to get the old one replaced ASAP. The chain slacks at a particular point and is too tight at some points.Moreover the Sprocket too looks weared out.SVC peeps have expressed that the chain is in a position to snap anytime if exposed to extensive strain. Stock sprockets and chain are outta stock with the dealers. I have already done 15700 kms with the current chain sprockets.

PS: Always lube your chain every 500KMs for it to last... I know people whose sprockets have last for like 30K KMS

Sprockets on my Pulsar Classic are still stock after approx 75k kms...

I know you mean it good but I gotta say man...we dont do anything crazy or out of the line out there at lavasa. Anyone who likes twisties (doesnt need to be able to corner at all) comes to lavasa...through most of the turns I too go @ not more than 30 kmph with my legs firmly tucked in, just like you.

Seriously lavasa aint about cornering or riding fast for 90% of the ride time..its just another of those motorcycling flavours that you may want to have for breakfast more often than not. Also riding through the twisties in a group and seeing the ones ahead of you have a dominoe fall into the turn and then glance over the RVM to see the riders behind you taking the jump into the corner right after you did, is a super cool feeling.

Do come this saturday. Safety is being stressed here not because we go bonkers at lavasa but because the corners and the road will invite you to go faster..but then a good 100 riders must have bitten the dust up there.
