I heard that Slip-On doesn't give much power (as compare full kit) but yes if you are looking sound, then you may need to make a plan for this

        1) If you looking Intercalation Slip-On Exhaust, then you need to find similar kind of you bike which Slip-On Exhaust suite/fix easily.
        2) Set your budget, Slip-On range from 15K to 25K (Total Cost if you buy online)
        3) Find good mechanic, who can fix it with less modification of your bike and Slip-On Exhaust.

          1. That's what I was asking ! Suitable Slip-On for Karizma ZMR !!
          2. That may be a problem, spending a fourth amount of the total cost of the bike, just to have good sound; That might not be a wise thing to do !!
          3. Dad himself is mechanic, he knows best bike fabricators in Pune.

            1) Between 125mill to 250cc mill Engine Slip-On exhaust will suite (my guess)
            2) I did for My R15. Yes when you think it in figures it does matter
            3) Then no need to worry, I like to meet him any day..

              details about the place

driving from Pune to Lohagad one has to take the Pune Bombay highways and get off the highway at Malawli. From Malawli railway station, the fort is just 9 km away. Vehicles can go up to the foot of the hill. From here, which is near a village called Lohagaon, there are steps to the fort, numbering approximately 500.

Bhaje Caves is on the way to Lohagad if a small diversion is taken. This walk is a particular favorite of trekkers, especially in the monsoon. It is a simple and easy trek and the distance from Malawli station to Bhaje gaav takes about 20 min. Distance between Malawli and Lohagadwadi can be covered in around 2-2.5 hrs. The trekking route is not very treacherous even when it rains and even inexperienced climbers can easily walk till the fort enjoying the particularly picturesque scenery, lush green grass, cool mountain air, and the pleasant salubrious climate. A variety of birds and insects can also be spotted in these hills.

There is a better road going to loahagadwadi instead of taking the mumbai highway-malavli route..
Start from chandni chowk.. towards mulshi...Turn right at paud.. pass kolvan tikon.. after just crossing pawana dam turn right ...to a good condition road which directly leads to lohagadwadi...

PS : The road from malavli to lohagadwadi will screw up your bikes...its a very bad condition road..

              • Guys... I'm again kind of in a rush here... Me and some fellas from office wanna go on a 4 day trip.. What are the essentials that need to be carried wrt the bike. Route would be Pune-> Dapoli -> Ganpatipule -> Ratnagiri -> Pune

Roads would be not-so-smooth along the way.. so considering the terrains, what do the heavy tourers suggest? Leaving on Thursday morning.. so quick replies would be REALLY helpful

                Thanks in advance..

EDIT: "heavy tourers" = tourers who hav done this kind of thing a lot of times... (one has to be v careful with words in this thread)

I am not a "heavy tourer".
Nonetheless I would think the following,

                  - Clutch/Accy cable
                  - Spare plug - (Not required if you recently changed/ got it checked)
                  - Fuses (really small and can be carried around)
                  - Tubeless puncture repair kit if you have one

None of these are really required if you arent going too far from civilization and not going alone.

                    Update:

Saturday I have got my shipment (MIVV exhaust), after terrible long two days for fixing/adjustment. finally it was fixed on my R15 by myself.

1st Ride was awesome, feel torque has little improved ( I can pull R15 on 2nd gear at 12 KMPH).
