All age 220s have that problem.. Its just that some (like me) have found and implemented a solution. Others just keep them folded.. they are of little use in stock form anyways...

Your friend must be very thin, hence he can see the rear view in the mirrors. Most of us can only see our shoulders in 3/4th of the mirror Plus the image while riding is so blurred(due to vibes) that it does not serve any purpose...

In terms of size he is even taller than you and a little fat than you. He also faces some blockage but still he is able to see.

I'm pretty thin and they work pretty well for me.. They aren't the best in the business but once you spend some time adjusting the position, you can use them effectively.. I can see between the gap between my torso and arms while riding..

NVs 220 had the smallest RVMs...
Anant and my 220 had slightly longer RVMs...

According to Bajaj, 220s fairing can not take extra weight (read length)..

With no riding gear on, its pretty much manageable (If you have great eyesight and can see using only 40% of mirror area). The problems start when you wear Elbow guards / Riding jacket / Both. Thats when you gotta do the Chicken Dance

My 220 is also from the same lot as you guys

My 220 HAD longer stalks on the mirrors than the P220 Fi. The same length of stalk is maintained on all Stock P220s till today (As per SS). Since my mirrors are no longer stock, the stalk length has been increased Using the services of "Nana Peth Technology Inc.".

BTW.. My P220 and Your P220 ARE actually different. Yours is same as Pads, Vkavadia and Saad's. Mine is not as fast as you guys'. Yours is not as Bassy sounding as mine. They are different.

There is a 68 mm difference between the length of NV's P220 (Fi) and your P220(F). For not installing longer mirrors on stock bikes, thats their bread and butter reason.

I guess they improved the later ones after urs..

Why are there no rides planned yet? Isn't anyone going on a weekend ride? I did post a ride to Ahupe but didn't get a reply to it. So guess someone can help me decide.
