How many are in for the 13th, 14th & 15th? We could go to some village school too, gift the kids some chocolates and also attend the Flag Hoisting ceremony..................

Dude! Me, Ninad, Tanmay, Winzee, and one more chap (Himanshu i guess) were in panvel untill 5 and we could have stayed back for your meeting man! But chal nevermind be there for the 7th ka ride...

could have been +1 if the meeting point thing was organised properly!!! i had confirmed with inder a day before if any of the guys will be meeting up at moto cafe...inder told that 8-9 people had confirmed and that he would join us at dehu road meeting point...i woke up at 5 am,got ready and was waiting till 7am in heavy rain,but nobody showed up.called inder several times,but i guess he was riding to dehu.finally when i returned home dissapointed,inder called & informed that nobody was coming to moto cafe.dehu is quite far away from my place and it was not possible for me to meet there in time.
i wasnt sure of the location either.so i needed someone at chandni chowk.
this would have been my first ride with xBhpians.i was so excited to be a part of the anniversary celebrations! but alas..all in vain.

My zeal to ride that day took me to lonavala with my friend.was a nice ride.i was on my CBR and he was on Apache RTR 160.
Found out Big Wheels motoring cafe on way.hope to join on coming sunday.

Sorry for your experience. In future, I suggest that you collect cell nos of at least 3-4 guys going on that particular ride and give your cell no. to them so that you two can keep in contact about meeting point/ timing etc.

In fact, I wanted to ask you to accompany us on Panchgani ride 10-15 days back but no one (coming on that ride) had your number so could not contact you.

(Please understand I am not saying that it was your fault but just pointing out difficulty if our cell no is not available with fellow riders)

My mobile stopped working and at the last moment I could gather their number from Inder, knew that your name was also there in the list but came to know that only 3 guys are coming from Pune.

This Sunday we are starting from Moto Cafe so bethere. There won't be any confusion this time round.

There is google doc link in of the senior members signature which has details of Pune members including cell nos... if we can all update it and share it then such things might not happen agn...

Here you go...I had similar experience during my 1st ride to Lavasa. After that took Vishwas' no & found out this list. It is good that many members have updated their contact details in it after I have added the list in my signature...before that the list was empty as compared to the members in this thread.

The contact list is a very good idea.i have added my details and also added the link to my signature to help new members.

What happened with aniket was bad, and again its the mistake of many new joinee members who dont go and register themselves on google sms channels which link is clearly provided by NV on the first page, all you need to do is register using your gmail account and your phone number so all meet ups and ride plans if some one posts is smsed to you too.

Secondly i would also request all members who make ride plans or plan up meets in the city or out of city, where he is asking other new members than make sure to use the sms channel and post number of atleast 2 or more members who are accompanying in the ride so this doesnt repeat again.
