Ohhh! I love this thread very much. Logged in today after the Sunday's G2G and after reading the posts, my mood certainly lightened up!
Anyways today's G2G would be my last, I would surely try to attend it.Hope to see and meet everyone and oldies as well!

ohh yes how can i forget this route.. it was my first solo tour and it took me 4-5 hr to complete the stretch from mahableshwar to Poladpur... that stretch is a legend atleast for me...... it is not a road it is a path way made of loose gravel and some artifacts that shows that there was a road made of tarmac once few decades ago ..... and the best part of that 60 kms stretch is that it is all thru the ghats (Mahad ghat)..

One is at swargate... start of tilak road near the HP petrol pump...
second is in kothrud.. Opposite Karishma Society, or Cad M, near Mac D of Karve Road.

Yes leaving India altogether. Sharan has offered me a job at his place in Kuwait. So going there.

As far i Remember i only enconuterd the bad patch's after wai till poladpur. and yes NH 17 .... but on NH17 roads near to ratnagiri were amazing...

Well then there's this beach, anjanvel, 30kms south of dapoli.. doesn't seem to be to popular - which makes it good for this weekend's ride..

hey guys, today when i went to arco automobiles in swargate to purchase an APE RR unit, a guy approached me asking "are you from xbhp", then we had a small chat. he was from mumbai and he said he was a member since 2004 or something, then he somehow lost his password and since then not active on xbhp. now he has shifted to pune and wanted to get in touch with xbhpians once again. i think he mentioned that he had met noor and sunny long time back. his name is ryan. since he wanted to be a part of xbhpians once again and wanted to meet us and since i have never come for the get togethers in pune that you guys do every week on FC road, i think next time you guys do a meet-up, please call him to check if he is interested, his number is 9833237363.

dont tell him i told this publically-- he is in some way associated with arco automobiles, the showroom working on bringing Aprillia bikes to pune. may be if you meet him, you can extract more info.
