Had a wonderful 620 Kms ride to amba ghat and back.My life's 1st ride! Never thought of being part of such a long ride when i started riding just few weeks back! Had fun with all the jolly pune xbhp members and special thanks to krishna for motivating me (by lying through his teeth ) for this ride

It was an awesome ride all together ripping on arrow straight roads, cornering on those beautiful corners,sick off roading,back breaking potholes,majestic mountains in the clouds,super fellow riders ...aahh dammit i didnt feel exhausted till the point i stopped for dinner at 12....660 kays on the odo ...all in days ride.Indeed a beautiful ride.

And krishna ...well he s damn good at it. Anything for a ride.

It was great to see you flying confidently at 120 kmph.. the drive to kolhapur on the national highway was amazing... and the ride from chiplun to karad after the ghat was @##!!..
Overall an awsome trip... even i am waiting for the pics

Sid and the ZMR tyres.You were in total control of your steed knowing its limits.The trip rocked except for the potholes. But then its all in the game.aint it? Pune-Kohlapur was amazing i was pushing my steed to its limits but it didn give up et al. Super fun

thanks! yea the dash to kolhapur was amazing! when krishna and i were catching up from behind,we couldnt see you guys anywhere even though we both rode at 130+ kmph! like i said during the ride...i felt like your karizma and the apache were modified to run like superbikes!

Wouldn't your main stand scraps in corners even at low speeds if you lean? What do you mean that it didnt scrapped exactly? Hos is the stand supposed to scrap exactly?

Sirji, AFAIK there is no main stand on the R15. Not sure if Shrinath has done some jugaad arrangement from Nana peth's technologies

AFAIK, you can actually buy main stand for R15.

@ vishwas - i was not that much into leaning or moving my bum completely out as told by some cornering gurus during our some last G2Gs, It was more like riding in my comfort zone and again, as i was alone and was a bit scared in case i crash, how am i gonna reach back?? and as i am a anghutha chap in cornering, so it was just enjoying the rains in lavasa and leaning a bit not too much like all CSS heroes do.

@ alibaba - you can get R15 main stand and its provided by company for R15 only.

Dude, you yourself had said that you went to lavasa to see whether your main stand scrapes while cornering. Now why are you blaming some one else's technique? Don't try and divert attention to some one else.

I would be the first one to recommend that everyone should ride in his own comfort zone. But if you claim one thing and then say another, it is NO GO.
