According to your post i could ride with noc in pune for 3 months . But it has been less than 1 month since i brought my bike and still police fined mee i should have known this earlier ..could have atleast argued with this point.. !!

I have just pulled an agent other than from the crowd outside rto for just in case.!!

frankly if possible i prefer first to do it in official way coz.. it costed me just 50rs fees + 25rs cover'n stamp for getting NOC from trivandrum ... within 10 days they sent me NOC to my home.. whereas one agent asked for 1500 rs for the same

and reverend could you please tell me what all forms are to be filled and procedure to pay tax ??? and rto timings ???
coz when i went there around 12.30 1 day there was no one inside the office even inside the enquiry

Well by the books,you can ride for 6 months with the NOC. I got fined the next day i got my bike here.Those ****er F***kin went on to argue that even though there is an NOC for the bike,you are not supposed to get it on the roads till you pay the tax.They talked in marathi while i was tryin my level best to change the conversation to hindi. Finally ended up 500 bucks lighter and a WTF expression on my face.Cops here and everywhere are just greedy buggers

Now coming to the procedures,I spent a week in chennai to get the NOC done myself and it costed me 51 bucks with valid receipts.Broker asked me for 2500 bucks.Fairly simple yeah?

The hardest part is getting it re registered here.It involves a lot of paperwork,physical inspection of the bike and a chain of letters exchanged between chennai and pune RTO post which i got my number.The taxes were paid in 15 days from applying and those papers are enough to roam around freely without sneaking in behind buses and cars at traffic signals to avoid the cops .

The whole process took me close to 6 patient months ( my agent was bloody slow too) and costed close to 9k including taxes,agent fee and other charges.

I would recommend you to talk to your colleagues or HR to figure out an agent rather than random selection from the crowd outside the RTO.That way you can always have feedback about him.

Timings i am not sure and forms were a shitload of them.I hope this helps.My bike is registered at PCMC RTO (Pune Dy RTO).where do you stay here.

Before CCD there are some chai taparis. You will find a group of fully geared up bikers there.

I hope you have all safety gear and documentation as mentioned in the first post of this thread.

I really wish if the JLPT (Japanese Language Proficiency Test) Considers giving me points based on riding (The Bike) instead of writing (Kanji's).
They cannot find ANY other day than sunday to conduct test.

soo i missed the ride and my first G2G again.... two reasons:

could not arrange gears....
was invited over lunch....so wifey didn't allow to go and come back
