It just so happens that I'm going to Kaas lake this weekend with a few techies from Thoughtworks..

And it just so happens that google doesn't seem to have the routes..

Guys needed some info. I am planning to go on a trip with my roomies to daman . Can anyone enlighten me with the must to see places in and around daman as well as some accomodation options. By the way we are planning to go via train as I am still getting ready for a long ride . . .Inputs appreciated !We are planning to hit there on the coming 31st and 1st holidays .. Also anyother places of interest around 300km radius of pune would be considerable..

DAMAN...Nice choice,my favorite place for Hangout :P
Daman,not much places to see.There are two beaches,Devka and Naani.Ok ok types,dont try to take a dip in the beach water.Its quite dirty.Hangout on the beach side shacks,there is one water park.You can go there.There is one fort as well,i mean just the ruins and some walls standing and its badly maintained.
Train will leave you in Vapi station,from there you have to catch a taxi to reach Daman,which will take hardly 20-30 mins.

Daman is beerus fav place for all the wrong reasons.

IMO its THE most boring place for a Punekar to go :P usse achcha Goa bhag jao!

you have so many places in these monsoons.please donot waste time on daman.
