As vishwas rightly said if you have any issues with someone pm him, sms him or call him and resolve the issue instead of breaking the keyboard here.
I wonder today i see two xbhpian guys smoking and enjoying with each other and tomorrow or week down they are like throwing tantrums on each other and shut down their talking shutters for small and petty things, so i wonder where are all the modern means of communication gone that time??
We can have phone of 15k but we dont have 5 rupees to call the other person and ask him instead of making the mess here.
I agree i was also one of them but than i learnt and if i have something i call the person and end the matter.
How many of you can tell that you have not done a mess here at all or played tantrums game at all here on this thread?
Still if you feel the person is doing too much stay away from him. Thats it and tell him that you dont enjoy the company.

Very well articulated, Shrinath. It is at such times that the sagacious maturity (or lack of it...) in a person is illuminated. The impulse to retaliate against a perceived wrong or slight overcomes the sense to do it in the appropriate manner. I too have been a victim of such behaviour but do not take it seriously as there is little I can do other than ruminate over his POV, compare it to mine and if the two are congruent, be happy and if the two diverge, pass it off as creative thinking.Originally posted by shrinathrao View PostAs vishwas rightly said if you have any issues with someone pm him, sms him or call him and resolve the issue instead of breaking the keyboard here.

Don't you think that you are discriminating against gays due to their orientation? They also have equal rights of being joked about.
Who says that me and Tenhut are not on talking terms? Also about the mess on this thread didn't tenhut specifically mention -Originally posted by shrinathrao View PostI wonder today i see two xbhpian guys smoking and enjoying with each other and tomorrow or week down they are like throwing tantrums on each other and shut down their talking shutters for small and petty things, so i wonder where are all the modern means of communication gone that time??

Anyways i dont wanna comment anything but thanks to vishwas sir yesterday i was able to take corners in decent speeds as compared to my regular riding.
@ icemang - thanks
@ everyone - i have a question of how and which is the better way to improve the peripheral vision and in corners is it safe to take corner from right side of the white marker or ride on that side as compared to left side of the white marker.Last edited by shrinathrao; 08-22-2011, 06:14 PM.

Quite the volcano that's erupted here since i last logged in! But i'm glad to see that due to lack of apathy/maturity of the group - whichever you please - its died down almost as fast.
In my limited experience, practice and more importantly, practice consciously. Example: When you're riding in bumper to bumper traffic, don't look at the vehicle in front of you. Instead, look around for other possible dangers while devoting half your mind to the car in question.Originally posted by shrinathrao View Post@ everyone - i have a question of how and which is the better way to improve the peripheral vision and in corners is it safe to take corner from right side of the white marker or ride on that side as compared to left side of the white marker.
On a highway, try to look for dangers as far as you can while at the same time keeping your immediate surroundings(including whatever's behind you) in mind...
While attempting emergency braking, don't focus on what you're trying to avoid. Look for escape routes or oil/gravel patches while braking as required at the same time.
You'll get a hang of it after a while. And remember its the cow in the middle of the road and the careless pedestrian that hones your skills... Thank them everytime you have a near miss.
The safest place to ride is, arguably, your own lane. I try to follow the line of maximum visibility around corners unless the traffic is minimal in which case I'm usually at the center of the road.Get ready for the ride! 24 Hours on a Bike...

@ everyone - i have a question of how and which is the better way to improve the peripheral vision and in corners is it safe to take corner from right side of the white marker or ride on that side as compared to left side of the white marker.
Whenever you wish to corner always wear complete motorcycle protective gear.
Now about your vision...Let me brief you up completely from entry to a clean exit of a corner.....
A good flexible body is the key towards good cornering, your body lean plays an important role with of course vision guiding you in and out of every turn you approach.
1) Watch your speed, just as soon as you hit the marker which says turns ahead, always look for speed which are comfortable to ride, which are easy to control the bike, this is practice session for you, need not be Rossi at every corner. Cruise speeds with gradual acceleration should be your aim when it comes to mid way.....so according ensure you are having the right numbers on the display unit. No hurry,...Keep your vision on the mid section of the corner coz thats what you gonna see atleast for now...see how the turn is, ensure there is no traffic coming from front...
2) Braking - watch it buddy, if your bike retarding force is not enough to slow down then yes brake a bit. 2 things you need to be clear when braking,
a)- Brake in a straight line, dont keep the bike leaned.
b)- Brake in the cornering line you have selected.
Now you vision will be extended and set upon 75 - 90% of the entire turn you are approaching. Also ensure that you have grip the tank when braking.... so that you are in control of the bike you riding......
3) Lean in - This is the actual time where you and your bike are witnessing the exact essence of motorcycling....Always remember- Speed does not matter, Rossi nahi hum. Be very eased out and lean the bike properly. Keep your handle straight and lean the bike...
Your vision should accommodate the precised exit point of the corner and should also have control over acceleration and braking of the bike.....R15 hai teri, no problem here...its a track bike, you are making it work where it is supposed to work.. no worries here dude. Whenever you lean always keep your head and body tucked in....let the aerodynamics play its part... Lean gradually.
4) Power - When leaning in the mid point of the corner...let the speed go up... doesn't matter if its travelling upward directly very slowly...but it should be going up...the time its gonna come down you will be losing grip and the bike will be going out of control and will be trying to go straight in a turn....thats the time when you lose focus and concentration....No one is telling u to pin the turn at 70 or 80...go slow when practicing..No hurry....go slow if you need but speed up when cornering...you have to or else you licking tarmac......very little throttle then mid throttle and then full throttle...
Your vision should accommodate the end of corner and its further obstacles if any...
5) PowerX2--- now you are out...go throttle ahead...if there is another turn ahead follow step one starting from speed and braking....
Keep practicing...i suggest let the rains go...take it out when its dry...get to know your bike more....
Vision plays a major role when it comes to cornering cz you follow the line which your eyes perceive....if you not focused then the entire working is going to go wrong and end up in a nasty crash...The line you follow should be between the center and edge.....it should not go in the incoming lane neither should be near the edge where you have no room for braking in case of obstacle ( it is a guideline if you are cornering for street purpose and not track purposes, for track based cornering its a different scenario as there is no incoming traffic) ...always have total control over braking and acceleration....
If i have missed something please add up!!!
Hope this helps shrinath bhai!!!!Last edited by Eshan-P180; 08-22-2011, 07:00 PM.sigpic

Logically speaking..Originally posted by shrinathrao View Post@ everyone - i have a question of how and which is the better way to improve the peripheral vision and in corners is it safe to take corner from right side of the white marker or ride on that side as compared to left side of the white marker.
Riding on the right side of the white marker of a 4 laned highway, is not advisable as the lane is specifically dedicated to high speed vechicles, whereas the left is for low speed ones.
Cornering/Lapping from the right side of the white mark..
I would take it as a double laned/single laned road e.g. roads of Lavasa.
Dont try it, its dangerous. A speeding vechicle can come from the opposite side and hit you and say that its your fault as you are on the retuning side. Better option is, stay nearer to the white mark/middle of the road from the left side and take the corners.
If considering a four laned highway e.g. Ahmednagar Highway.
It doesnt matter as the amount of corners that you would find would be compartively much less if not none. All you would find is wide turns. It so applies that you stay on the left side and leave the right for high speed vechicles.
The above guidelines are just from what I understand specifically and holds no responsibility of the statement and any beings living of dead whatsoever. There are much more senior experienced riders around here. I am just a rookie. I guess they would be glad to answer to the querry.....Riding the Indian Monster : 200NS....
