I'm refering to trailing the 'front' brake into the corner, its a more common practice amongst racers and an advanced technique though not quite as advanced as the one you are refering to.
Thats the video I saw but im not talking about that technique. Its called power sliding and used on hairpin turns if i remember correctly. I wouldn't dare to even dream of doing that. I don't know if trailing the front brake was one of the tips but they did mention it somewhere. Anyways, as you said its not for a beginner so I wouldn't be doing it now

                • @Joel: But I am sure we would love to know how you really felt while riding the P-220 on track. Please do share your experience if possible.

                  • The p220 experience.
The front feels like its washing off thru a fast corner and the rear is no less. The problem with the P220 is that the bike in itself is really heavy and although it has a larger dia front fork, it bottoms very easily. Its too front heavy and the rear is also soft. Somehow even the frame tends to be flexing a bit while negotiating high speed corners.
The clutch is not sharp like the RTR or R15 and the engine does not have the eagerness to take track abuse. The riding posture of the pulsar is also on the non-sporty side. The broad footwear at the rear does not help matter much, rather kills the engine response.
The centre stand gets on the way while taking left corners pretty easily. Once thrown into a corner, the bike is in no mind to get up. The front steering feels heavy and the tank also hinders tucking-in. The side view mirrors will ensure you get distracted all the time and to a great extent blocks your view as well.
Post track-day I guess a lot of them realised where their bikes belonged and the pulsar owners sure had nothing much to say in the presence of the RTRs and R15s

                    • ^^ Though I can't make out much from this technical explanation, I realized this during my last track session.
