We drove the bikes down from Mumbai. Left Mumbai Friday morning 3am and arrived Chennai Saturday afternoon. Left Chennai 9:30am Monday morning and just arrived back in Mumbai 11:00pm Tuesday evening. We had support car and shared driving between the bikes and the car. Stopped in Bangalore on the way down overnight and Hubli overnight on the way back.Originally posted by wonderboy_tm View Posta finger.

Post track-day I guess a lot of them realised where their bikes belonged and the pulsar owners sure had nothing much to say in the presence of the RTRs and R15s
& Well I guess most of the Pulsar owners realised that their bikes are not meant for the tracks, but to rule to streets! (where their crappy handling, can be overshadowed by fantastic straightline performance)
Not a few, just I asked this question. And I don't believe in such a thing, I merely asked Killer if such a notion is true.Originally posted by Joel View Post.

A few here believe that learning on a bad/tough handling bike will make you a better rider on a good handling bike. I dont agree. Killer has given the explanation.

I din't know the ZMA rider, but he was really good. He was taking corners pretty well.Originally posted by M@n()J View PostHe is Vimal from Gutzy Roadies ..... Ask Praful about him, they both were actually racing
We both somehow always ended up riding with each other, either he behind me or me behind him. At the corners I was slower than him, but was catching up with him on the straights.
This guy has good potential, a few trackdays down and he'd be blasting about the track!
@saicheeco:Nice pics there!
@killer: Thats fantastic piece of news there!_________________________

Trackday experience
Awesome trackday.
Before entering the track I was pretty worried about crashing (again). Memories of the crash from the R15 championships were still in my head. Added to that, the first corner one has to tackle after exiting the pits is C2..

.. Scary..
started off with some warm-up laps. Now came the time to concentrate on body position (had read a lot about it here). Though I am not sure whether my technique was correct, the shift in body position did help a lot. felt that i was comfortable in taking left handers than those long right handers(not sure why
). After a few laps, the ride became smooth. I was not running wide and was able to be on the throttle at the exit. This i was doing at a reduced pace with not so much lean. But I felt good
.. Came back to the pits and scanned through some photos to analyze whether my ride position was any good. Realized my head was at the wrong place (thanks wonderboy for pointing that out).
During my second session I tried correcting my ride position and concentrate more on C1, C2 and C3. After about 5 to 6 laps I was able to do these corners at a relatively decent pace. Later, from one pic I realized that I my ride position is still incorrect. Need to get more practice
@all: great to meet all u guys and I must say awesome pics.
@wonderboy: when is the next track day?
