Hello guys!! we haven't updated the thread since long time but we didn't stop over G2Gs. Here are the updates:

Last weekend we decided to go to Hazra falls which comes in between Maharashtra and Chhattisgarh border, we didn't had any idea of the routes so studied the maps night before the ride. So, following riders were there in this ride:

Chandan ( Myself ) - Yamaha R3
Inder - Benelli 600i
Srinath - KTM Duke 390
Gurteg - Honda CBR 250R
Utkarsh - RE Classic 350
Leanza - RE Continental GT
Satyam - RE Continental GT
Amit - Bajaj RS200

One way distance ( if you know the way ) - 170 km(approx) from raipur to hazra falls

Meeting point was sarona overbridge raipur for raipur guys at 7:00AM, srinath and gurteg were joining us from nehru nagar chowk bhilai, we had a fuel break near rajnandgaon. After crossing rajnandgaon, utkarsh's bike's side stand spring fall off somewhere so had to tie it off with a rope.

Important point is we decided to go hazra falls via dongargarh because of ongoing road repairs going on 4 lane and that's where we made a mistake because after dongargarh roads were poor and had lots of dust. Also another thing to note that was already roads were very poor there were big speed breakers too.

We reached hazra falls at 11:30 AM first thing we did was to eat something because we didn't had breakfast. We enjoyed view of beautiful waterfall, had some interesting talks on bikes (which bikers can talk anywhere and anytime ) and roads too.

We started our return journey at 1:00 PM and decided to go through a longer route via deori because we didn't wanted to go through same patch again. After crossing deori Leanza's bike (Conti GT ) ran out off fuel (because of his own mistake, he didn't notice the low fuel warning ) so we had to get some fuel which wasted our 45 minutes. Then again we hardly covered 20kms Satyam's bike ( Conti GT ) started making weird noise, we stopped and checked and came to know that rear disc plate got bend ( still don't know how it got bend ) so we had to come slow. Finally we reached raipur at 5:30 PM.

Total Distance Covered: 380kms

UPDATE: Today's ride we were only three guys, others were busy so we decided to do a short ride, we decided to go Murum Silli Dam.

Distance - 105 kms from raipur to murum silli dam via dhamtari.

Riders:

1. Chandan (Myself) - Yamaha R3
2. Rahul - RE Standard 500
3. Srinath - KTM Duke 390

Meeting point was BPCL Oswal Petrol Pump, we decided to meet at 7:00AM, again srinath and rahul sir were coming from bhilai. We got late by half hour and left at 7:30AM.

We had our breakfast of poha, moong vada and chai at dhamtari, destination was 25kms from dhamtari. We reached dam at 10:00 AM.

























We returned back to raipur at 12:30 PM, this was short ride but was a sweet one. We had lots of ride planned in coming days.

Unfortunately no riding gears shop at Raipur even we can't get decent helmets. Although you can try RE showrooms at Raipur they do stock some gears but how much worthy they are I don't know.

I and other riders who I know here at Raipur have sourced gears from Hyderabad/Mumbai/Nagpur/pune.
