You guys can ride to Mainpat. It is close to Raigarh as well. However, it will be wise to plan two day trip.

As for me riding to Bhilai, I do want to do it soon but all depends on when I actually can!

Amarkantak during winters and rainy season is a place to visit, i went there by car once and want to go again by bike this time.

Had been to Amarkantak during December 2014. While the distance is not much and Amarkantak is really nice place, the roads are far from good. Roads through the achanakmar buffer zone are disastrous and even the ghat section leading up to Amarkantak is not good. But then someone interested in hitting the trails will love this a a lot!!

good to see you guys riding around. wish i could ride extensively in chhattisgarh, it has plenty of nice places and good roads to ride on which are not constantly busy and overpopulated with people and traffic like it's here in UP (most of it) which already is geographically flat and boring..

good to see a benelli 600 as well.

is R3 selling decently there ? and which showroom is selling it there ?

R3 sales have begun quite late here as compared to other cities. 4 R3s have been sold. Yamaha World Bilaspur is only dealer for entire Chhattisgarh.

I think Raipur showroom doesn't have sufficient space both for display & service and Bhilai showroom is 3 years old.

Except central avenue and New raipur roads. Those are very good , Other roads we know how good they are.

True sir but Bilaspur roads are in worst condition as compared to Raipur & Bhilai.

i would disagree mate . you forget the NH6 and its bypasses either side of bhilai and raipur, the ring road in raipur are some long stretches of roads that are as good and first rate as any, in addition to new raipur roads of course..in fact bhilai's central avenue appears only mediocre compared to the aforementioned roads...i am not counting the standard city and semi-rural roads, some of which are bad or not so good but most of which imo are at least decent and some pretty good...even the raipur bilaspur highway, which used to be pretty bad until recent past, is pretty decent now (quality wise very good for the most part, but only one lane)...bilaspur on the other hand from what i have seen many times in the past and as latest as three months ago hardly has any decent roads inside the city or around it except for a few relatively small stretches...there may be some very good roads around bilaspur that i have never seen, but i would doubt them being at par with NH6, its bypasses, ring road etc..

bilaspur is a much smaller city both by population and area compared to raipur and bhilai-durg, hence why i was surprised to know yamaha's selling R3 there instead of raipur (the state capital) or bhilai-durg.

are you sure about the bhilai showroom? it must be more than 3 years old man, i have seen loads of CG-07 yamaha bikes, including R15s, in bhilai for ages...i would guess the dealership changed at some point and the new one is 3 yrs old...
