    Well, this calls for a rethink. There really is no point in riding out alone to Nandi Hills without the GIR Team in tow. So, considering OF's request, how about shifting the time to 6:00am as the meeting time in front of Esteem Mall? We'll start the engines at 6:30am sharp. So now the lazy bones from Bangalore will also have a chance of making it to the ride.

    How about it?

      ^+1 Anything past 4.30 is fine for me, even though it's a last minute decision, we'll have to agree that rest is quite important, I'm not really familiar with the above venue, but I can hold onto the Hebbal flyover as mentioned earlier.

      Please post opinions and comments as soon as possible.

        In the interest of the elders here I would like to file a sincere request to reschedule the start time to 6.30AM. We must remember that the main aim of this ride (both our India ride and Nandi Hill micro ride) is to meet up, ride safe and then come back in one piece.

        I would also love to catch up with the sunrise but unfortunately not everything is possible (and we anyways have captured many sunrises and sunsets in this trip ).

        Currently we are in Ooty and leaving for Bangalore in 2 hours with Sksy joining us almost in Ooty for the ride back to Bangalore.

        Akhil meanwhile is tuck in a marriage function in Bangalore with his highway blazer - the R15.

          @OF, Sunny : Please specify if 6.00 A.M BST or IST is applicable. We'd decided on 4.30 A.M IST for the sunrise. And 60-80k's in a formation ride is fine with you guys right..?
          Else we'll have to make some jugaad arrangement like the Hyderbad guys did.

            Well Tom, it is not me heart that protests...it is 'young' and beats 24x7x365. It is me bones and muscles that raise the red flag at times as it is with the other oldies in the ride.

            As for the formation ride and pre-defined speeds...lets see the ground realities of the road we ride on. Safety is paramount...beyond even looking good and impressive. You can take solace from the fact that the 1's have been keeping company with the '15 since the last 11000+ kms. We won't sprint BVR. (thats beyond visual range for the uninitiated)

            Looking forward to seeing you all tomorrow morning...

                  PS: Sksy will be meeting us somewhere around Bandipur. Rossiter alas! shall ride alone from Coimbatore, on his favourite highway cruiser the R 15 as he will be unable to leave there before lunch.

                    This change in plan has made me scratch my scalp to the core. What to do?
                    Guys is it possible to have u all meet up somewhere in the city I mean far before Hebbal ?? I dont think I'll be able to make it to the Hills , given the reschedule its impossible.

                    NEways, OF and Sunny , do also let us know about your putting up plans, I may come there to just see ya guys and do some clicks . Maybe I can try to wake you guys up ...

                    One more thing- After 7 AM nandi hill will be no lesser than a burning charcoal !..
                    So try avoid sitting over the rocks or you'll get a permanent tattoo on ur tashrif (as in urdu) , a nice mark reminding this trip forever

                            I re-iterate :

                            Location : Opposite Esteem mall, which is situated just after the Hebbal flyover, in the direction of the Int'l Airport.
