As Praful put it earlier, Esteem Mall meeting point is fixed.

Location : Opposite Esteem mall, which is situated just after the Hebbal flyover, in the direction of the Int'l Airport.

Time : 4.15-4.30 A.M. Anyone arriving later than 4.45 A.M will have to catch up with the group...

I've never been to a G2G. I have never ever ridden in formation. It will be a first IF I make it. But, I've to be back by 10 in the morning. I will somehow come this time. BTW, I'm working on a minor ping issue on my bull. Where are the bloody spark plugs? Heck, I'll make it man. Cheers to Maverick ji for the PM.

This post is in three parts: an update, a thanks and a request.

The update: We are in Ooty right now. Great weather. The ride from Munnar today was good though we do miss the divided 4-laners when riding the big 1's. We were accompanied by pradeep30 and keerty. In fact they rode over to munnar and stayed with us in the same hotel overnight. Great.

Tomorrow we ride over to Bangalore. Akhil aka Rossiter is presently in Coimbatore and we plan to meet up with him at around 2.00 in the afternoon and we all will ride to Bangalore together.

The 'thanks': Well...have just gone through this entire thread and I am touched. Both by your enthusiasm and the warmth conveyed through the frantic planning for the ride. Thanks a million all of you. It will indeed be an honour for us to ride with you guys.

The request: I just murmured an 'ouch' when I read the meeting time. 0430hrs. Have a heart guys. Spare a thought for this 'old' man here who will ride into Bangalore by 9 or 10 PM the previous night and will again have to wake up 'before' the crack of dawn and ride again. My humble request is to please shift the time to a less godly hour, say around 0630hrs so that we poor homeless souls can catch up an acceptable dose of forty winks before hitting the road again.
I know I should have put in this 'change of timing' request earlier. Couldn't do it as the net connectivity was a pain both in Alleppy and Munnar.

So see you guys in your terrain tomorrow onwards.

OFजी, we believe you are young at heart. & you could do a catch up act with the Ones . Also watching the sun rise from Nandi hills is what we have in mind. The early start time is I think, is for sedate riders, me including. We ride the by the book & there are set speed limits for the formation ride . Not applicable for the GIR team though .
