Guys,
I'm in big trouble now...
I had parked my bike in the parking lot of my company and today the drainage pipe going thru that way got broken and all stuffs were pouring down. My bike was kept near that and most of the stuffs were on my bike...
My helmet was filled with that water which makes that helmet non-usuable now.
Also, i dint take my bike while coming home today... The security people over there just gave a water service to my bike.... But still its not cleaned fully.
I've spoken to the facility manager of the whole tech park and they will be taking any action tomorrow only.
I've asked them to service my bike properly as well as replacing my helmet...
I hope they do everything tomorrow itself and get my bike back and a new helmet...
Please pray for me and my bike guys... I really don't wanna miss this ride...

Guys coming from Kormangala and BTM Layout can take the HSR Layout road. From the Junction continue about 250 meters and take the first u turn into the service road. Do not continue back on the main road. Continue briefly down the service road and the meeting point is just onto your left.

Guys coming from HSR Layout need not take any u-turn. Just take the left into the service road.

If people still find it difficult, do not worry. Just contact me and we will just pick you up from the junction. In fact, from the junction you can even see the actual meeting place. It is very very near.

When the respective groups start off, we would continue directly down the service road and onto Hosur Road.

About the Ride Plan

~ First break we are going to take at A1 Plaza for breakfast, intro and photo session.
~ Second Break we are going to take at the KRP dam

Hi guys! Thought of giving a few inputs from my side.

1. Make sure that you keep a sensible distance from the rider in front of you.
2. Keep an eye on the rider behind you to make sure he doesn't fall behind too far. Don't just stare at your RVMs for obvious safety purposes. You need to know what's going on in front of you. It's up to you to slow down a bit to let the rider behind catch up with you if the need be.
3. We will probably encounter truck traffic. Don't be tempted to squeeze between them if there is not enough space. Be calculative about when it is safe to overtake.
4. Under no circumstances should you overtake on the hard shoulder. Stick to either of the lanes on the main road.
5. Don't tailgate, ie, don't follow too closely to the rider in front of you. If he has to suddenly take evasive action, you need to have enough time to take action yourself, so as to avoid the risk of collision.
6. Keep a look out for high speeding cars. They come at you faster than you think. So before changing your lane, check your RVMs and determine if it is safe to pull out.
7. Don't get too close to the vehicle in front of you at the time of overtaking it. Leave enough space before pulling out. It's all about advanced thinking.
8. On the rearward journey to Bangalore. The same rules apply as the onward journey. Keep the same formation and speed going. Don't get "Over-confident".
9. Please enjoy yourselves and make this a memorable experience for yourselves and others.

Here is some help reaching the place.

People heading form BTM , Koramangala side: People Should head on straight from silkboard towards HSR side and take a right U turn at the first junction and enter the service road .Head on straight,Its on the left side with Yellow 'height' barricades to prevent truck entry.

People coming in from Marathahalli ,HSR layout via ORR: People taking this route should take care to take the service road from the junction before Silkboard and head on straight. Its on the left side with Yellow 'height' barricades to prevent truck entry.

People coming from Madiwala and that part of Koramangala (this also will mostly include people coming in from Malleshwaram side ): I have shown the route from the Madiwala police station.
from which you have to go on the left side of the bridge and take a left towards HSR side below the brodge and head on straight . take a right U turn at the first junction and enter the service road and head on straight.Its on the left side with Yellow 'height' barricades to prevent truck entry.

Attached are a couple of snaps of the meeting place. Although they dont really tell where it is , It really has place for 40 bikes and is very close to the silkboard exit towards Hosur.

Guys .. John shadez and i were discussing about various habits and tendencies. and one that prominently was a problem was keeping to the same formation and rules on the return ride also. There is a natural tendency to rip on the way back.
So please on the way back also lets stick to the formation and curb the need to rip and most probably return to a pre-decided meeting point before the final Bye bye's.
