  • Good morning and a very HAPPY INDEPENDENCE DAY to all of you! Lets make this one memorable for all of us guys!

P.S:South Bangalore continues to be blessed with no rain!

    • Slightly drizzling though. But it won't be much problem to start our ride. 20 km ahead it may not rain at all.

See you in a while. I am about to leave my place now. Went down, saw the bike. She is just waiting for me.

This is my last post before the ride start.

      Happy Independance Day!

          • Santa, Sunil sir, Vijith, Tejesh, A gladi rider and me returned back from an eating joint near Hosur. The delays meant that we would be back in Bangy only by 4 or so if we'd continued towards the Krishnagiri dam.
Akhil, John, Ajay sir, Jasir, Xeno etc and around 25-30 bikes continued on the damn-dam-quest. The turnout was the biggest Bangalore has seen. Shots taken at the dhaba will corroborate that

The rains ensured that the all the vehicles received a generous coat of chocolate brown on the base colour

More details when the dam-conquerers return to Bangy

            • Just got back after the ride. Huge turnout, and good, mostly safe riding lead to a very nice Saturday morning and afternoon for me. Not to mention the beautiful spot. Krishnagiri Dam was well worth it.

              One small starting pic:

Will upload the remaining by morning.

                    • it was indeed a great ride.. there were some delays, the slight drizzle, traffic but that didnt stop us ... sadly, had to return back home half way but it was really worth it for the distance covered...

Thanks Santa, Mav, Tej and Sam (gladi ) for the company back home....

looking forward for the next ride

                        • Hi all, back safe in one piece. Though the ride back was a little bit long, it was entertaining.

Bang your head, while standing opposite/close to a wall, speed @2-3kmph? Hurts?
Increase your speed & watch the fun, when someone falls from a Motorcycle, unfortunately he can't choose which way to fall best & hurt himself less.

                              Guys.... is this true???
I think we had the most amazing country roads...
I'm sorry I had to take de-tour. I went via Hosur. Had a bad cold and was not able to ride. Reached Home by 3:30 ish. Down with Fever now .

It was amazing to meet you all..Still cant stop thinking of all those bikes and all the attention we got, and yeah the pleasure of riding.
                              The dam was brilliant.

Personally I felt, SWEEPING from behind is more delightful than LEADING from the front. Hope Storm_trooper agrees with that and Rossiter disagrees
