I sorely missed you on the GIR nandi ride. Luckily, my buddy on a RE 500 Mach synced with my throttle-on, throttle-off running in tactics
I for one definitely wanna see a Honda on the ride. The one equipped with a custom-built camera mount(s)

@Sunil sir: Bringing the flag along that you'd generously helped us with last year. However, id need help in mounting it.

    EDIT:
vijith: A vehicle less than an year old doesn't need one. I too don't have one. It ain't the end of the month man, we needn't worry about pandu-harassment

my bike is 1 year old, still no PUC or anythin. I have the other stuff though. Crap, i just checked my insurance papers..crap it expired back in May...i tried renewing it online, but no luck. I hope it wont be a problem (the dates are really small on the papers..hope the pandus just brush it off).

Many thanks ajay to bring it up. But very frankly last few years experience in biking i have never faced or never heard any sort of cop harassment for PUC. For new vehicles i think its not an issues. But if u have PUC just keep it with you otherwise just forget it.

If cops caught us for this issues at best we may need to pay some amount fine which has very minor chances to happen.

          Soo cheers!
          See ya tomo morning!

          • Thanks guys for the info. If at all I manage to come, I'll come straight to the place. Else, I wish you all a Happy Independence Day Ride. Ride safely, imbibe the spirit of a good and responsible rider and most importantly, have loads of fun!

If anyone wants to borrow the cam mount bar, I would be glad to lend it.

            Cheers!

            Prajwal

PS: New bikes do not need PUC certificate (bikes less than 1 year old), but since the ride is out of state, my advice is to have all valid docs in ORIGINAL and 1 duplicate kept in separate pouches (Rain and misplacement protection). Anyone without a valid doc will be wholly responsible in case of a mishap, especially since its out of state, and cannot expect a whole gang of 40 bikers to wait for him to negotiate with the cops. I pray that nothing happens, but expect the unexpected nevertheless.

Make sure you all have weather-proof jackets as far as possible. Carry all relevant bike documents and make sure your helmet visor is clean before you set off.

If you have any documents at hand, just keep it with you, I beleive the flag itself is a better document to keep the cops away. And don't worry being a TVS flame, it's 'Anybike....Anyone..'

PS: Can we have a final list put up???
