A tiny handful of competent members shall host a technical training/skills workshop wherein the attendees shall get to learn basic hands-on skills relating to motorcycle upkeep and maintenance along with the ability to do minor repairs while in the field.
NOTE: Only those who have no revulsion of getting those dainty hands dirty and greasy need attend. There will be no chairs to sit on. So mere spectators are NOT welcome.
The following aspects of motorcycle maintenance shall be discussed, demonstrated, photographed and also vediographed.
1. Puncture repair - preferably for both tube and tubeless tyres
2. Front Disc brake checking/service/pad replacement/brake bleeding (if time permits)
3. Rear drum brake inspection/shoe replacement/adjustment
4. Drive Chain inspection/adjustment
5. Handlebars - steering head bearing checking/adjustment
6. Basic carburettor tuning
7. Spark plug reading - both for 4-strokes and 2-strokes
Timing: 3:30PM onwards on Sunday 27th September 2009. Should wrap up things max. by 7:00PM
Venue: The Writer's Hut, B-39, Sector 57, Noida.
Drinking Water and Tea shall be on the house.

P.S: This is serious stuff. Those who want to just pass their time and have fun can seriously skip this G2G, and I would be the happiest of the lot, then. ONLY those who are serious about motorcycle/ motorcycling should join this.
