To all who will be coming in groups through DND, please make sure you pay your individual toll at DND(Don't pay in a group) and avoid to form a group.

We had a bad experience in the past...so be careful this time

Zayn: bhai we are not coming to Dhaba so kindly delete the post or the moderators should do it as it will cause lot of confusion for any new people.

ALl:- no big group formation ride on DND please its festive season and cops are quite alerted, hence come in small groups and lets meet at some point near or at Old Fox's Den

Rubber Stamp:- where do u live in Delhi?????

That is very nice of you Rohit, appreciate it!

And Yess! Regarding the Map, Please give me some time, By night you all will get it,posted here!

            Thanks!

Directions to reach the destination - I would personally love to meet at a pre-determined spot and perhaps ride to our 'destination'. However, here are the directions for the same.

            1. From Atta Chowk: When coming from Delhi you hit Atta Chowk. Continue straight past Noida DPS, NTPC and Shopprix Mall. Just beyond the Shopprix Mall take left. Carry on straight till you see an Indial Oil petrol pump on your left. There is a cut in the road divider bang opposite the petrol pump. Turn right from there. Continue straight again till you get to a T-point. On your right will be a company called 'Steria'. On your left would be 'Writer's Hut' [destination for the G2G].

            2. When coming from the DND: Descend the DND till you get to Rajnigandha Chowk red light. Carry on straight, past any number of red-lights and diversions till you get to a T-point in the end. Grey flats can be seen head-on here. Take right and ride past two red-lights. Past the second signal, on your right will be the petrol pump I wrote about in the above point. Take left and ride on till the T-point. Steria on the right and Writer's Hut on the left. (appox dist from Rajnigandha Chowk to T-point - about 4-5 kms).

            P.S: MAP Attached!!

got back an hour or so back.
                      was a good experience today.

Learning about front disk, rear drum (courtesy Bandhav's bike and c_sbk).

Also under heavy duty work was teh TTR with a full carb workup.

I have the videos and all with me, but as my computers are down (this lappie I am using is no good for video editing and stuff), I'll try to give the files to someone who can edit and post as soon as possible.

@Psycho: Please do upload the videos on Youtube. I am sure those would be worth watching.

I did click a few still photographs, but today's workshop would be WAY better understood through motion.
                        :)

Riding Skills Workshop (Delhi): Maintenance Workshop - Sunday: September 27, 2008

It all started with Getting on Bandhav's Bike on the Ramp and Operating it!

(1)Let me start with the Tightening of the Rear Brake!:

As shown in the Image when you r rear brake gets loose you need to the push that Rod with the help of your thumb as depicted and the Tighten up the screw that holds that ROD there and you Done with it!
Adjust the screw as per convinience, how loose or tight you may want the Brake to be !!

                              (2) Tightening the Handle:

Now we would not open/loosen all the screws as then it will be a difficult task to put the handle to the right position back again,so we would only loosen up two screws that too the Diagonal one's by the Allen Key of 8 / 10,depending on the screw in Various Bikes..

Then adjust the handle as per your suitability and then Tighten up the Screws!
and you are done with it!

More to come soon, as soon as we get the pics!
