Josh, Iam more comfortable with your arrangements for our accomodation in Tiger Ranch. Hope we have had enough discussion in forums, txts and phone calls, now its time to move on to the next step. We, b'lore bhpians confirming 100% for your proposal, and we all glad to have you and Ram lead the team.Originally posted by JOSH5898 View Post@ shakti / arun / subbu... guys today i and ram had a discussion and were thinking to prepone our meeting time from 12:00 pm to 10:00 am in bandipur. We could start early morning and reach there early so that we get more time to spend. Do let us know your plans.
Also have almost confirmed the bookings at Tiger Ranch for our stay and they will provide us a Camp Fire in the night to chill out. Will confirm abouth the same and get back.
@coldfingers.. we sure will miss you in this G2G dude.. but work comes first. Hope to seee you in our next G2G.
Having spoken to Ram, we too welcome the new timings. It would be fair, if aravinth545 and Bhuvan are comfortable with the new timings.Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostYes, in accordance with the discussion i and Josh had we have a small suggestion to make, why don't we guys start a little early say by 5.00 or 5.30 A.M in the morning and reach Bandipur by say 10.00 A.M, by this plan we can have a lot of time to spend and we can visit several other places in and around too. Say if we start a little late as scheduled before, we will only reach by 12.00, by the time we check in it will be like 2.00 and there comes lunch again and stuff which will delay the things kept for us in the chain. So, my suggestion along with Josh would be to start a little early as possible. Guys, inputs on this please...and lets decide fast!
Btw. here is the list of confirmed riders.
Josh (R15)
Sakthi (R15),
Arun (R15),
Subbu (R15)
aravinth545(FZ), and
Ram (P-200)
@Bhuvan, waiting for ur confirmation too man!
As reference with Josh bro's Check list,
I suggest everybody to ride with proper shoes, not neccessary to be in racing boots, may be with sports shoes (trainers) or some Safety shoes(Hard bottom, Leather). As it is a forest, shoes are more comfortable and safer to protect from insects and amphibians.
May be we can share the mandatory tools to avoid any breakdown to spoil our plans. I can carry a tubless tyre puncture kit. If someone takes responsibilities for hand pumps and the other for grease lube, and even the health drinks, etc... it would like a "Team" effort and responsibility and even we can avoid over loading a single rider/bike.

most of us will have our regular tool kits with us and also additional tools you guys are planning would be more than enough... there are a lot of small towns on the way where we can find air so carrying hand pumps etc would be overloading...also all our bikes would be recently serviced so i guess there are very few chances of a breakdown.
Am carrying a victorinox / maglights / insect repellants and a few first aid things. Its approx 200 to 2550 kms ride from both sides so should not be facing a lot of hazards i guess.
Tomorrow morning i will have the bookings confirmed and will make the payments. Am confirming 8 people as of today.. any additions will be adjusted later. New members interested to join this G2G can do so only upto the 4th Nov.Last edited by JOSH5898; 11-02-2009, 08:39 PM.

Sounds exciting indeed!!Just imagine the excitement and thrill of driving past a few herds of deer, sambhars and elephants through 4 Kms of lush green forest, the last 1 km of which is a jungle mud track, to reach the most exclusive wildlife resort ‘TIGER RANCH’.The shooting for Ram Gopal Verma’s film ‘Jungle’ was done here. The unit comprising of Sunil Shetty,Urmila, Fardeen Khan stayed at TigerRanch for 45 days.

but then I visualized it! Eh!
Man I really wanted to but then I'm scared to give the bike to Orion motors, again( I also had a big fight at the insurance office
, I was already pissed of from Orion )
These guys didn't bolt my rear disk brake assembly on to the swinging arm, I rode for a few kms and realized fuk!!
dangerous..
- fork bend wasn't removed
- didn't put any of the gourmet rubbers on the fairing..
I guess Shakti had even worse experience with these guys..
hehe.. Main thing is that I can't sleep well without it in my parking
Ram, I advised Josh against the probiker.
I had knuckle pain and minor skin tear near the wrist using it at track last time.. I felt motomesh to be better..
He'z got the dough so recommended the cramster, I'm spoiled by cramster..
@Josh, let me know if you need the cramster from b'lore outlet..
