I am doing this route solo this Sunday!

Tirupur - Coimbatore - Anaikatty - Attapady - Silent Valley Park - Mannarkad - Palakkad - Coimbatore - Tirupur

I plan to start early in the morning by 6am and back before evening!

Please pour in any ideas / suggestions!

let me aso check with my saturday night stay .. if i am good with plan then i am in .. loan is ok ...

Well there are no fixed plans as yet regarding the trip cos last minute changes are bound to happen, but the destination is surely MUNNAR and the date is surely 28th Aug 2011 (Sunday)

THE PLAN:

Tirupur team leaves by 5:00AM and will reach Udumalpet
Cbe team leaves by 5:00 AM and will reach Udumalpet.

Meet at Udumalaipettai (15 mins tea break) - Ride together (Breakfast Enroute) - Reach Munnar - explore places - lunch - small break -
ride together - split groups in Udumalpet - reach home.

Recollecting from all the past G2Gs, either I would have come straight off from work or havent slept the previous day at all due to the excitement and last minute bike works...

I can just remember, how i got a back slap from Sakthi along with you when i slept off riding to Coorg & the bike started taking the other side of the road..! Sleepless nights working in worksop....good old happy days...!

Wow..! A Good list of riders...! Josh, you still don't remember what bike i've resurrected! It's a 135 5 Speed & yes, I'm optional on that one. Planning to cling onto Mahesh's pillion seat, if he's okay with it. Shows I'm getting old riding legendary exotics, time you give me a good news about the V 2.0 bike & I shall get one just for daily commuting & touring!

nice plan josh!!
and my 2 cents fro planning!
after reaching munnar> the twisties are found in the munnar-top slip road(35km) and this road has a beautiful scenary which may look good/better in mornings and evenings...and this alone takes about two-three hours to and fro including the photo sessions etc!!

FYI..While Coimbatore gang prepares for the up coming road trip to Munnar, Chennai group yesterday just initiated talks about October 2011 ride during our weekend meet.

Right now, we have some suggestions; Ooty/Masinagudi road trip. I'm sure many CBE guys might have been numerous times and it would mean a little in terms of round trip (kms). Having said that, would like to still invite Coimbatore/Triupur group to join us, cause every road trip is new experience.

I shall let you know once the thread is opened for further discussion.
