Hope you do grins* Am excited about the trip! sounds amazing!
Thanks bro just a first step before doing something much bigger!Originally posted by tshirtking View Postoh - this is a great plan - doing 300kms in a day is easy! keep it going dudes! deepak / sivaraj - u guys rock!
I don't know about me, deepak rocks!
yeah, right! we'll keep up with you guys?! give us a 15 minutes head start then you can keep up with us! seriously don't put this to use lolz.. you guys go ahead and wait, we'll show up at our own pace!Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostHa..ha..! I'm not defending ur statement too mate & neither we were too rash in the way we drive
. There has been several witnesses for the same what we had mentioned above. The average speed we maintained was around 80-85 which constitutes the saying & we did start the acutal timing from Burliar, to mention about the sync i did mention as Mtp. The roads were so bloody empty by 7'ish in the morning that we hardly encountered a few vehicles. I seriously know it's hard for newbees to beleive it, but let's ride again. Once ur in the sync with the team with proper signals, I'm sure you guys can easily catch up the same pace that Josh & I share.
Is this a hint to buy another one?

Head Start? For what?? lolz.. It's always Group Riding that we guys are into & no matter how slow the sweep or a fellow rider he is irrespective of the bike, we stick together until the end. That's what we've been doing all these years. So, w'll always be glued to each other in the ride. Also that in that ride what i was talking about, it was only myself & Josh in the act who decided to go to Ooty & find if Kurunji's is open for breakfast or not, so that no time will be wasted & the others can proceed with us.Originally posted by blackside View Postyeah, right! we'll keep up with you guys?! give us a 15 minutes head start then you can keep up with us! seriously don't put this to use lolz.. you guys go ahead and wait, we'll show up at our own pace!
Seriously, tempting to me. Sincerly hoping it will be twice there!Originally posted by blackside View PostIs this a hint to buy another one?

Of course we are both new, well you are a bit more experienced, that's what makes it great! we are stepping ahead in being more experienced.. we're riding! ha..ha.. and if anything goes wrong? YOU MADE ME DO IT! (P.S: just kidding alright, lolz..)Originally posted by dpak89 View Postlol!! not so big words...i m just an amateur!!
we'll I sense the principle behind riding groups, but i don't have any qualms if the sweep has company, those who'd wana enjoy riding sporty, riding sporty! we could all ride together when we're on our way back or something. It does have its up's and downs I agree..Originally posted by dual disc 200 View PostHead Start? For what?? lolz.. To add up to this, our all time official & favourite sweep is Mahesh, one hall of a patient & a brilliant rider, sticks to whatever the speed his fore-rider follows.Originally posted by blackside View Postwe'll I sense the principle behind riding groups, but i don't have any qualms if the sweep has company, those who'd wana enjoy riding sporty, riding sporty! we could all right together when we're on our way back or something. Mahesh? he seemed pretty sharp, thought he'd be fast and up in front. Am surprised, it takes a very different mindset to do that. Shows I still have a lot to learn about the groupOriginally posted by dual disc 200 View PostTo add up to this, our all time official & favourite sweep is Mahesh, one hall of a patient & a brilliant rider, sticks to whatever the speed his fore-rider follows.

Finally the group seems to be rocking together. Am so bloody proud and happy of the proceedings. Well now since there are so many eager riders waiting to burn rubber I am so god damn tempted to ride now. Here is what i suggest.
DATE : AUGUST 28TH
DAY : SUNDAY
THE PLAN : TIRUPUR - PALLADAM - UDUMALAIPET - CHINNAR - MUNNAR - CHINNAR - UDUMALAIPET - PALLADAM - TIRUPUR
ETD : 5:00 AM - ETA (MUNNAR) 10:00 AM
ETD : 6:00 PM - ETA (TIRUPUR) 11:00 PM
How does this sound ??
Have always wanted to conquer the twisties of the Munnar route on a bike but never got a chance. Though it would be a slightly tiring day each and every second spent on the saddle would be worth.
Please put in your inputs asap as i have to re-schedule a lot of things accordingly.
Cheers
Josh.

My suggestion would be to check on the rains and road status before you decide to take the above route. Chikmagalur/Mullayangiri roads will be in very bad shape after the monsoon and also many places like Sagar and Malpe etc too. So check with the Bangalore team members who do this trip frequently and find the status.Originally posted by dpak89 View Postthe trip plan is
Day1 : Cbe-ooty-mysore-bangalore.
Day 2:BANGALORE-HASSAN-CHIKMAGALUR-MULLAYANGIRI (CHIKMAGALUR HALT)- RIDING DISTANCE:270KMS (Appx)
Day 3: CHIKMAGALUR-BAALEHONNUR-SRINGERI-AAGUMBE-TIRTHAHALLI-SAGAR.Halt at SAGAR/JOG. Riding distance:240/280 Kms(Appx)
Day 4:SAGARA-JOG-BAINDUR/KOLLUR-MALPE Halt at Malpe.Riding distance: 160kms(Appx)
Day 5:MALPE-kozhikode-coimbatore.
.its a scenic route with beaches on left side and mountains or right
!! suggestions are welcome
..total distance would be around 1600+km...
Anyways good luck for the trip and hope all goes well as per your plans.
Ride Safe.
JOSH.

Every time half of the members are unavailable. Though its a tough & busy life for all, we somehow have to take time out this time.
C'mon guys am eagerly waiting for ur updates.

@Dpak & Blackside: Wonderful trip plan. Wishing you guys the best of luck..
Dpak ji, is the mighty Phoenix accompanying you on this trip or have any alternative 4-stroke plans from Bangalore.
As I can see my name already in the list of confirmed riders, should I speak more.
As far as the trip is concerned, just one thing I would like to tell...
