finally i guess we will be approx 10 ppl overall.. its good to have such a great response for our first G2G. Will find out more details about the accommodations and update.

@ keerthy dude u can try to make it man.. its a weekend and if you try a bit hard then you sure can manage.. do try ur best.

Below given are a few things required for the G2G.

1) SERVICE - A Thorough checkup at a trusted mech, especially check timing,tires,oil,brakes etc - COMPULSARY

2) GEARS - Helmets,Riding Gloves,Waterproof Jacket. - COMPULSARY

3) RECORDS - License,Reg Papers,Insurance,Puc Etc. - COMPULSARY

4) Knick-Knacks - Tool Kits,Cameras,Flash Light etc - OPTIONAL

5) LUGGAGEOPTIONAL

6) Comfortable shoes with good grip for treks - OPTIONAL

Guess have covered all the required items.. if you have any particular health problems then pls remember to carry your meds and inform other riders about the same.

Please do add in the necessary things which might have skipped my mind.

P.S ONE MOST IMPORTANT THING : DON;T FORGET TO BRING YOUR WALLETS WITH CASH (juz kiddin)

Oh, i too want a pair of gloves... Wer can i get one in cbe ram?

U can get those Fabric motocross gloves @ Aditya for Rs.400 but if u want a professional one, u have to get it from bangi man!! That's what i did!!

Hi guys, this is Sam from PN Palayam - a new member on xbhp (pls check the who-are-you? thread for the intro). Heard about the trip from Ram (dual disc). Happy riding guys!! Thanks Ram for the invite, but unfortunately, I wont be able to make it.

Anyway, are you guys taking the mettupalayam road? I would suggest taking the sathy road to annur and from there, divert to mettupalayam, its marginally a longer one but the road is heaven!! I'm sure you guys are aware of it, but my 2 cents!! Cheers....

Hey manoj, i have travelled from mysore to sathy few months back.. I remember the road to be good.. The hills are somewhat steep with more hairpin bends. Till the foot of the hills,you will be passing through narrow roads,dont be surprised if you see any wild animals wandering off the road. And dont drive at night. It is risky in that area.

its a beautiful and scenic route bro.. but if u r planning to cross the tamilnadu border to goto mysore or so, beware, coz the road starts gettin shitty from there.. n beware of animals too.. thou v dint c anything its one hell of a scary road at night.. arun(red) would agree with me on that.. :-)

thanks for the link aravinth.. have already posted details about the same before in this thread. The accommodation process is under way so we will not have any problems i guess.

denim jacket would be ok too but try if u can borrow someones waterproof jacket cos we might face rains there... and for the gloves you can get a decent pair from alagendra autos for 400-500 bucks.

Duse, as Josh said, just carry a water proof wind cheater or a rain coat along with ur denims as v have high chances of facing the rain god. Btw. where do u reside in coimbatore?? I'm at Podanur!!
