Wont it be too over to buy a Nike and wear it under ur helmet... i think helmet shops in cross cut road wil have those for less than 100..

No saar, they are naat suitable faar helmets, I am not inclined to splurge that kind of money and make it a sweaty thing!! .... and I need to buy 2 or 3 of those!!!

haaa!! eggzacktly!!! In fact I have paid 20/- per peice for cheap quality ones and 50/- for good quality ones!!

Thanks for the store name. BTW, I am noob to CBE, some specific directions would help. I could find the Crosscut Road in google maps, but I need help to find this store. Any land marks?? Just for your information, I will be coming from Hopes College. Any stores in this area??

X-Cut road is very close to Gandhipuram. Ask for Aditya Automobile stores which is known to everyone there and the store just opposite to that is Palaniappa Auto Stores.

Hopes -> Peelamedu -> Nava India -> Lakshmi Mills Junction (Take a right) -> Women's polytechnic college -> Gandhipuram -> Cross cut road (A km down and you get these stores). There is one JaiKrishnaa in 100 feet road which is parallel to cross cut road.

@Deepak and Naughty Vaish: This is the basic Vega helmet for 1150 INR.. u can check it out plus there are a lot of models available for less than 2000 it seems...

As I told u, these guys are junk waste.. 2800.. on further speaking with him, he said he's getting things from bangalore, hence the price hike.. but still 1000 buck is way too much extra...If u finalized about Cross, then check mine out this weekend.. either get it in bangalore or order it online.

Hi satheez_7, welcome to the coimbatore team... City meet happens every weekend at Sabari's nest in Avinashi road. Our next G2G is planned for a one-day ride to Ooty on Feb 20th.. Just keep an eye on the Coimbatore thread for updates on the meets and rides.. Cheers.
