@all: I'll update the participation details in the morning.

As for the location, I agree with Praful. Let's have a destination close by.. How about the same spot that we stopped when the GIR team was in town? Just after the turn off to Nandi Hills, under that shady banyan tree?

Looks like when the things are going just the way you wanted....then call it the fate or the God's bad eye everything turns upside down for the Bad.

I was shocked saddened when I was going through my morning Hindu paper ,Quickly logged onto xBHP and learning that it was Kriss my sadness turned into grief and sorrow.

Although I never met, He was the first on xBHP to welcome me when I mustered some courage to write my single day travelogue.

Dear Brother may your Soul Rest In Peace. We Bikers will miss you for long.

@Rossiter: I dont think that shady place is accessible anymore. I think it has been barricaded from the road and the place seemed all dug up.

Thats a very noble thought kiran.

I do have a contact who is associated with a famous news channel. But I am always skeptical the way they project the things. They might end saying "ban the bikes, ban the sports bikes, ban the bike groups as bikes are only meant for transportation from point A to point B".

If we were to approach them I would want the mods and admin to help us with their experiences in handling the media in a professional way and the media exactly conveys the message what we want to give to the public(esp. the youth). Guys I would also like to warn you that, we might be exposing ourselves to other media agencies which might use our name or reference in some other case on some other occasion no matter how irrelevant it is.

Mods please add your inputs and suggestions on involving the media.

IMO, A2B isn't a place where we can sit around and chat as it'll be full of people, especially since its a Sunday. Probably Shoolagiri which is close to A2B-Hosur is a better idea?

Avoid Hosur Road man. Its gonna be a pain. The fire cracker business in the Hosur town is a mess.
Kanva Dam or Manchanabele is a better bet for such a ride.
I will try to see if I can make it for the ride.

Bangalore, Chennai and Mumbai participation list updated.

@Joel: Manchenebele seems to be the best bet as of now. I'm not too keen on blasting down Mysore Road on early Sunday morning with at least 30-40 SBKs buzzing by, so Kanva doesn't attract me too much.

Let's keep the media out of this. We are doing this to pay tribute to Kriss, and that alone. There must be no other agenda for this ride.

As for the media, there is no right way of handling them. They are a force onto themselves, and they will say and show whatever serves them at that time. Even admins and mods of this site have learnt this the hard way. For this reason, we are very conscious of whatever we do publicly, and do not involve the media actively at least.
