So lets revert back to initial place, The park exactly opposite Ragam theatre. Enough parking space in the round itself and if that is full then side of ragam theater there is enough place.Originally posted by JASMINE RIDER View Postits a good place. but, think about the hot in this hot summer in such a open space.

So guys from Irinjalakuda can meet up with Cochin guys and move forward to this place where we will assemble and then move towards the place Navin suggested.
Does it sound ok ?--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Hi,
You people may not be knowing me [Some guys might]. Im an Xbhpian since ages..
even before the site crashed.
We had a strong Cochin-Trichur chapter earlier and we used to have G2Gs. Our most successful being the Fort-Cochin G2G back in 2007 i believe.
People like Ebin, Renjjie, Hari , Swaroop, Anil & me used to join. Most of the guys except Ebin & Renjjie are inactive in forums due to work load i believe.
I will be there for the G2G with my 'aar dee 350'
for sure. I will try to contact Ebin & Renjjie too.
Gathering at Swaraj Round is a bad idea at any time
. We used to gather in front of Town Hall, Palace Road. Its better coz traffic is less and there is a big tree on the road side under which we used to park our bikes. So, its better to gather & wait there as usual. Just my 2 cents.
We had planned a ride to Peechi which didnt work out then. Vilangankunnu is a very hot & dry place and better avoid it coz all of you people can reach there by noon time only
. Not much shade/trees there for any comfort. Peechi on the other hand has got a garden (Though not much attractive like Malampuzha and all).
You people decide..Jawa 250 1970

That RD is owned by Mr. Sony [Owner of Cheerans Motors (Yamaha Dealer) & Mototech]Originally posted by krish2778 View Posti had seen a red RD350 at mototech a few moths back, it was in great condition, was this by any chance yours ?
Both our RD350s have Fury Discs up front. On his bike, the disc is on the left side as he is using the old Fury Brembo caliper itself welded on to the RD fork. My RD has got a P220 caliper along with the fury disc plate on the right side fork. Both work done by Mr. Sunil of ORM. His RD is plain Red with just a Yamaha Logo. Mine has got usual RD livery.Jawa 250 1970

Wow.....So XBHP Trichur gang is again meeting up
after 3 years of Sleep
Hello everybody... I am Hari.
I used to ride around trichur in an Activa from 2002 till 2006. Then moved onto a RX 135 Tiger...
Since 2008, I am working in Coimbatore...
Currently I ride around in an Apache RTR Fi (I miss my RX
)
Since it is the Financial year ending, I dunno how feasible it is to get back from work... 90% I will be joining in...
Last g2g somewher in 2007, we started off in front of Townhall...I feel it will be a good point to start the g2g... we will have some chit chats n intros and then proceed to a small trip.... Since it is a Sunday, it will be silent and cool too...
& for having some snacks n drinks, I think there is a good bakery behind the Pallithaamam ground complex...there is ample space for parking the bikes there...
As somebody suggested, we may plan a bike trip to places such as Cherai or Snehatheeram beach... Since it is somewhat in between Trichur and Cochin, it will be convenient for the Cochin guys to join in too...
Cochin guys can join together at a decided point in Cochi at abt 9 30 in morning and then start off to reach the beach by abt 10:30... Ebin, Renjjiee, Titus, Vaishak Ramakrishnan .... Anybody listening????
TSR guys also meetup at abt 9:00...have some intros and then vroooom to Cherai/Snehatheeram beach...Its hardly an hour ride... The road used to be superb about 3 years before...Not sure abt it now though...
Looking forward to meeting you all... Keep smiling

Wow. Nice pics. So its time to get the Trichur unit back on its legs.
Oh, i really spent about 10min just drooling at the bike, the way it was maintained , its just kewl. Never have ridden an RD, its my long wish to ride one, heck i hardly get to see one around.Originally posted by Arun Cheloor View PostThat RD is owned by Mr. Sony [Owner of Cheerans Motors (Yamaha Dealer) & Mototech]

Like Arun chetan suggested we can meet up at townhall.Once we get there things can even be decided more easily.
Snehatheeram is about 20-25 kms from trichur. We had a small meet on1st march.3 cochin and 3 Trichur members and rode to snehatheeram. have posted the pics in this thread about 1 page back.
I don't know about cherai, Arun chetan had suggested Peechi also.
So now we have 3 suggestions Cherai, Peechi,Snehatheeram. We can discuss it and get the single places selected.
And same about the timings.
So Hari cheta, i'm adding your name to the list. I'm really hoping you can make it. Hoping to meet you Soon.--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

So here is the list and the plan till now.
Plan - Trichur members meet up at TownHall , and wait for Cochin and Irinjalakuda members, as Irinjalakuda members will join with cochin guys ride along.
Then after intro and chit chat, we move for a small ride. The options are Cherai,Snehatheeram,Vilangankunnu,Peechi.
We can decide place according to discussion here.
Preffered time of meet 10am in the morning, wont be too sunny and the ride after will also be at bearable time and return can be early for Cochin guys.
All suggestions are welcome
