hi guys... do any of you know any good auto-electricans in cochin, who has the know-how and experience for stator coil rewinding? My requirement is to put in and everyday use a 60/55W bulb for ma RTR180 - but I do not want to go for full dc conversion. I'm having trouble finding someone reliable here in tvm...

The mod i did was for pulsars only!
i changed my stator coil with that of an avenger.its a direct fit. got it done from service center itself!

@lijo sabu knows a guy here who does electrical works, lemme ask him and ill let you know!
btw why did you remove the HID?did u face and probs?

a small help for me too.... check whether Petronas sprinta 4t 5000 Fully synthetic is available there .... thanks in advance

You guys with Pulsar are so lucky.... put in the avenger coil and lo.. .good to go....

Yes, please let me know who sabu chettan recommends...

I removed the HID, coz its too bright to be used in the stock reflector, and also due to cops.... got stopped twice . Plus, it was like a flood light for atleast 100m... its good for highways... but most of the time I'll be riding inside city... we need to show some respect to others too na...

BTW... that HID is up for sale... let me know if anyone wants it

300v is expensive than 7100.MOTUL claims 300V to be superior than 7100 and better clutch protection

Yeah man... they will see you much before you spot them...the HID is that bright and intense... so if you dont have a bhoothakannadi and find out where are cops are before 1km atleast and switch it off, you are bound to get stopped...

it will be a direct fit but your speedo will show 4 km slower!few pages back i posted a calculator try tht.
here you go
